They are essentially forcing him out and he's coming back with the attitude of fine but I've got a contract and you pay me loads and I'm not losing that. We all sound off about contracts when other teams try to buy players. I've no love for the bloke but this is all on the club imo.
He's played pretty much all the pre season games you'd expect to be on the bench at least as a senior pro but the club have bought so many players he can't even get on the bench, this isn't a normal shut up and work hard scenario.
He could do all that in house though. The fact he did it straight away doesn’t look good on him imo. The club are at fault and have tried several of their players badly. Chalobah and Gallagher are Chelsea through and through yet being forced out
If he was the first to get the treatment it might seem like an anomaly... but he's one of a number that are / have been given similar treatment... reprehensible management practice in my book ...
Basically he is at the stage most if not all of his transfer fee no longer effects PSR therefore like the HG players any fee for him is pure profit in PSR terms so the owners want him gone as there are no more hotels or womens teams to sell to themselves .
Simple answer is don't sign Chelsea and you won't have to complain about them being idiots. **** him the silly ****. Hope he breaks his legs.
That’s some list. Not even including the injured players like Reece James. Chelsea are a shambles. Their wage bill must be sky high, I don’t see how they’re not being sanctioned for breaking fair play.
As a player would you sign for them at the moment? They are though and that must be down to money. Maresca first manager to go imo not that it'll be his fault but these idiots will sack him and blame him.
What's funny is that roughly half of those players on that list are probably better than the ones they've been dropped for.
nice try dier hard. As much of a basketcase we are, the following really should be playing: Chilwell (just about), Gallagher and Chalobah. The rest not really although i did like the look of petrovic in goal
They’re desperate to palm him off to Napoli to offset signing Osimhen who would be mental to go there apart from the money. It’s going to end in glorious tears.
Boehly wants all eight keepers playing to guarantee clean sheets and Maresca isn’t a strong enough character to explain that’s impossible.
Mate ... nearly every transfer is down to money - not saying players don't want to win things - they do ... but give them the choice of potentially winning things or doubling / trebling their earnings ... and there is only one winner ... ... that the reality of the world we live in and, in particular, the world of the modern footballer...
