and...what did Spain achieve that England didn't achieve, we both qualified, they played prettier football but it gave them no advantage on us in going through. Didn't players like Beckham, Rooney and Owen use to have problems with injuries around tournaments. It's an unneccesary risk. This is starting to sound like a Leicester youth project mate and we all know how that worked out for the Foxes.
Kind of team that could do us though, not because they are better, got decent individuals and more than capable of going up a gear. We have gears too but we struggling to find them imo

Agree with this. I’m losing all hope now. Slovenia were there for the taking but we were hopeless. A few times when we moved the ball quickly they couldn’t get near us. We done that about 3 times the whole match. We had the easiest group and it’s only luck that no other team took advantage and won a game to finish above us.
