Yeah everything people say about Brighton was said about us when we were selling everyone and bringing in the likes of Tadic, VVD, and Mane and getting into Europe under Koeman. Didn't take long for it to go wrong and we went from 8th to 17th in one season.

Not suggesting they'll drop as dramatically as we did as their owner is a fan so will be more invested than ours was but I see no chance they maintain regularly challenging for Europe.
Yeah, but your fall started because Leibherr died and Cortese left, iirc. Bloom is a lot younger and a life-long Brighton fan.

City will have a strong case and better lawyers than the Premier League. Newcastle rinsed their lawyers on the CAT case in about an hour. The good thing is this will clear up what is lawfully right or wrong and after than nobody can argue.

Liebherr died in August 2010, before we were even promoted from league one.

You make a decent point re Cortese but we still improved for two seasons after he left, qualifying for Europe in both. It was after he left we began to sell everyone.

I like Spurf, funny guy, although I'm surprised Chelsea and Newcastle fans haven't reacted to his comment yesterday, maybe he is right that's why tjhey've not responded. Or maybe they think with him supporting Spurs, well you know ;)

Sky reporting six clubs (Everton included) have to sell players to meet PSR rules.

yet city, Chelsea flout the rules and Liverpool are sponsored by a bank funding arms deals.
