Thought you said everyone is corrupt regarding City in their favour, surely this would be a waste of a bet
Best ever top flight manager? Of those who have managed in the UK there's only him, Fergy and Clough to pick from really.
I think winning the European Cup twice with Forest just to piss off Leeds makes him arguably top in my eyes.
please log in to view this image A sound business plan, accompanied by a bulletproof recruitment plan. Everton FC. Whatever the masterminds at Everton spent on that shambles vs whatever PIF have spent so far oiling our machine nicely just aren't comparable. Newcastle have so far spent well, on real quality and crucially within the rules. Everton spent blindly and desperately on lesser quality, disregarding the rules - or maybe just not understanding them well enough. Maybe. The stadium is being build by burdening yourselves with debt and doesn't come into the losses mentioned below. Just for a bit of flavour i.e. It was all the stadium nonsense / PIF spent more nonsense: "After many years following a frugal approach, Everton really pushed the boat out under Moshiri, losing money six years in a row. In fact, they have lost exactly half a billion pounds in the last five years. To place this into context, Everton’s £500m loss in the last five years is easily the largest in the Premier League, comfortably worse than Chelsea £434m, Aston Villa £326m and Arsenal £311m. In this period, Everton have reported four of the 25 highest losses ever made in England, with three in the top 12: 2019/20 £140m – 5th highest 2020/21 £121m – 10th 2018/19 £118m – 12th 2022/23 £89m – 22nd"
The account is SwissRamble - he does forensic analysis of everyone's published accounts and analysis of significant financial changes within football, objectively. It's just the truth.
On the plus side. Everyone gets an extra £6m due to 2 of the 3 relegated clubs no longer needing parachute payments. Everton can now afford to install toilet cubicles at the new ground
Ignoring all of the financial crap. I actually think the new Everton stadium looks the bolloxs. So refreshing not to see just another “bowl”. It’s nice to see from time to time something which is both functional and ascetically pleasing, a bit like Leicester’s training ground.
