It happened on White Hart Lane in North London the article stated, maybe you'd have preferred they hadn't mentioned it for personal reasons or what ever but you should take it up with the author of the BBC article, tell him he should distinguish between a stadium that's no longer there, a stadium that is still a building site and an athletics ground. Personally I'm more worried about the referee.
<quote> It is understood the referee suffered only minor injuries during the game at New River sports centre in White Hart Lane, which saw Dumlupinar Yeni Malatyaspor beat GS FC 2-1. </quote> No need. The author stated everything you claimed they did not.
White Hart Lane is the road. The attack happened inside the New river stadium, not on the road. < you're welcome >
From the article. "The Metropolitan Police said it was called to a report of an assault between 18:50 BST and 19:05 BST in White Hart Lane." Don't know why it upsets you that they mentioned WHL, but they could hardly say it happened on for instance Cold Blow Lane when it never. Anyway, let's move on.
...only one person looked at my comment like that. Interesting. Although it may be a good idea to keep your fantasies private.
That’s either a scary thought in that they think they’ve got somebody better! Or a gigantic mistake that they may regret.
