Job done for Arsenal. We got lucky with the pen that wasn't given. There would have been a case for the ref to play an advantage, but he didn't so that has to go down as a mistake.

Other than that Brom didn't really threaten other than for 20 mins in the 1st Half. We upped our game in the second half and got the 3 points deservedly.

Was quite funny leaving the ground on Saturday.

A Liverpool fan with the broadest Yorkshire accent telling everyone how we only came out to watch Liverpool because we're a bunch of glory supporters.

Obviously he was laughed at and told to **** off back to Hull. The cry of "Have you ever seen Gerrard win the league?" was met with a "But we've won it 19 times you ****!" retort. His voice cracked at the end, you knew it pained him having never seen his team win anything first hand.

It's actually how I picture HIAG in this thread.

"Even Brighton are above Leicester! " <laugh> Do you think he'll ever get over it?

No buddy, Quentin (HIAG) will never get over it ... having penned a thread directed at Leicester City in his angst at seeing us doing well in which he confidetly predicted
that we might just hang on to a top four spot, he was subsequently irrevocably traumatised by his humiliation at our going on to win the leage by a ten point margin ... if you are a poor loser by nature, you are unlikely to get over somethong like that ... as Quentin continues to demonstrate to us all.

It is, however, rather flattering that a fan of one of the so called 'bigger clubs' such as Quentin continues to take such avid interest in our fortunes <laugh>

**** any team that has that hypocritical cheating **** Pulis in charge. Every time he gets a dodgy penalty against him he whines and cries and calls people a cheat and calls for bans, worse than any other manager, but never once has anything to say the other way. His teams cheat in ways that are obviously choreographed on the training pitch, rather than being an on-the-spot instinctive individuals decision. His teams commit so many petty fouls that refs let most of them go as the match wouldn't finish until the following day, his players play the man rather than the ball, and plays a brand of footbal that makes Allardyce and Moronho look positively gung-ho.

Just saw the interview where Pulis was crying about the game last night, calling Sanchez a diver and a cheat and saying that Arsenal should have been down to 10 men <rofl> Bitter ****. Just makes our win over his team even more satisfying seeing him act like a bitch about it.

He has a point though, if WBA get a goal they can shut shop and play their defensive game with more confidence, the ref should be getting that right. Gooners got lucky.
