Wasn't really arsed about this one tbh. We never do anything against Pool Howe will be gone soon, he was only ever hired to keep us away from the Championship and has managed to keep his job way longer. I'd go for Jose.
I can't see Jose wanting to come, unless you offer him some ridiculous wage. Life is too easy for him at Roma. Fooking weather in Newcastle would put me off for starters.
Cheers for the comments guys, it's been a rough day. Not caught any of the match but wasn't really expecting anything away to Liverpool; the only thing I've not seen is that "penalty" and from the shots on here it looks an absolute shocker of a decision. That said it looks like they were already winning and it was near the end so probably not an important bit of cheating by Jota there. It is what it is, sounds like the 3 points went to the right team in fairness.
Fishing is beneath me Bumps. I try and stay as impartial as possible. I merely observe and comment I dare say all three of those hyeeenous penalty decisions will be brought up every time some deluded scouser brings up City being bent as fck when Livpl are just as bent. It's a level playing field bro, no excuses and no more crying yeh
There's deffo contact, very clear and it unbalanced Jota who has no need to go down as he's about to tap into an empty net. Facts innit.
Just man up and admit in public that ONLY TWO teams get almost every single decision in their favour in every single game they play LiVARpool and Man City
If Newcastle had'nt just pulled a goal back that second pen would never have been given. The refs can't be seen as biased but when there is only one goal in it they won't take a risk.
I think you are partially right but I don’t think it’s only two teams I do think there is an unconscious bias for whatever reason to the teams at the top end Utd Wolves springs to mind
It hasn’t occurred to many yet that he may just have been clipped and lost his footing as it doesn’t suit the narrative Yet loads of pros and journos pointing out he had not made a poor touch and had an empty net to tap into and they can’t understand why he went down as it makes no sense Well possibly then it’s the obvious answer which is however slight the contact was it was enough Who knows Probs only Jota
A good point well made Duggie. It's a bit ridiculous for the scouse kettles to be calling the City pots, black. The Longstaff one not given was equally shocking. The funny thing is if it was City having those decisions of course we'd all be saying so. But we'd have half the Livpl board on here doing the same as well
You've changed your tune. From the pessimistic doom monger to the deluded scouser all in one night. LOL
I totally agree that there was a case for the longstaffe one It wasn’t consistent But Taylor never is - my major problem with him is that The yellows he dished out tonight weren’t consistent either Liverpool player says something - yellow Newcastle player says something play on same with Joel Linton who should have been carded way before he was - he packed in the ****ty fouls soon as he got his yellow Taylor should be nowhere near the big games and tonight was one of his better ones
Not said my opinion just offered another perspective on it People are struggling to understand why he went down ftr I wouldn’t have given any of the pens tonight ****ing wusses nowadays But there are **** loads of other decisions I would have made differently too
