Who knows but someone else would be and here i am.

So cos im a Liverpool fan let's just forget the Saudis buying football from the inside out shall we whilst the clubs owned by them flount every financial rule in the book cos they can? yeh good call bro really

As I've said before - as a lifetime fan of one of English football's lesser lights, it's pretty hard for me to get over excited about which club, here or in Europe, has the most financial clout and, as such, the greatest chance of success on the pitch ...

Success is still not 'a given' - at least not absolutely - PSG are a prime example - but it is no coincidence that the clubs that win the league the most in all of Europe's top leagues are usually the richest, or close to it ...

We can all have a dig at Citeh and FFP ... but what is undeniable is that if you give Guardiola the tools, he tends to deliver - I doubt his current squad is the most expensive in Europe - but they are often the best 'team' ...
