bloody hell what are they doing to these players, two subs already, one for each team, now another player gone down.

Edit: All three subbed players I noted are ages, 30, 33 and 34.

I do believe if Jose makes a prem return it will be too us.

I was having these thoughts yesterday, would he come to you if Howe was given the boot. It seems the most logical move for him next, with you having Champions League now.

<laugh> we've achieved more than the other 2 in the last 30 years ... winning the PL for one but also the FA Cup and 2 League Cups whilst they, much like you ... have won fook all ... it's your own head that needs a wobble lad.
Genuine question
Who has won the most in entire history of you and Newcastle?

To be fair, the comments should be on the division 2 bit of the forum.

I do too. I think part the summer transfer window suggested this as a longer term plan.

It would be logical, they can even spin him being Bobby's understudy to have a "feel good factor" involved.

Problem is, I can't see Howe going for years, minimum two. Of course things happen in football but, would we randomly sack Howe even if we are doing OK for Jose?

I just can't see it

Although I do wonder the tolerance level of your owners, Howe's always going to be treading a fine line in the early days, especially until you at least win a trophy.

The owners patience hasn't really been tested at all, so it's a completely unknown aspect of how they will run the football club. It's fair to say Howe has at no point so far even gave them anything to consider, he qualified for Europe and got to a cup final far quicker than they expected.

I think somewhere in their heads, as it is in my head, they must surely be thinking that he isn't the man who is going to bring trophies to St James'

Going by body language of when I've seen your owner, he's got no patience whatsoever <laugh>

I could be wrong, but he didn't look a fook about type of guy to me.

I was thinking how the fans would take his brand of football. Especially if it's not bringing results.

If last nights first half was anything to judge it on..........Not very well at all. First half the atmosphere was dead, even the plastics chanting "Is this the Etihad"

Yeh but you'd have the same in the 2nd half too lol.

I just don't see him winning the fans over. And I think he would know it and steer clear.

Probably find a horse's head in his bed. Maybe the whole horse, punched to death.
