Now, I'm not one to trawl the NE press for such stories so I can't see the whole article, but does it actually confirm that the perpetrator is a Newcastle fan (which would be an unusual detail to include)?
Could be a Geordie that supports Sunderland for all we know

That's not how it works on here I'm afraid. A guy ****ed a pigeon in Sunderland so hes automatically a mackem and Sunderland supporter.
