Went to a Gills event tonight, the owners there along with the manager and recruitment team - good feeling about the place, hope for a top seven place, so that could be autos or play-offs, I believe the owners expectation is the same. No expectation on top three though, it's going to be dog eat dog. I still think our owner is mad investing in my club, but considering I thought we were dead and buried over seven months ago, I'll just take every game as it comes, and enjoy the ride for a change...hopefully!

To be fair, I don't really have any thoughts on it, other than it's human behaviour to follow the money, so whatever the morals before, the human instinct of think of number one, out trumps the rainbow laces.

I agree bcos to say otherwise when you're taking their money is bullshit. It's easy to hate the new money clubs and say they're ruining football but then you'll take their money. After all they have to spend their money somewhere right so everyone's complicit. Wenger was another like that. Bitched and bitched about clubs spending big money and ruining football... all the while selling some of his best players for big money to those same clubs. Hilarious.
