I've always thought of Luton as a scummy little club and nowt has really made me change that view. I don't share their dream in the same way as I did with Wimbledon, the latter wasn't involved in one of the worst ever football disturbances in English football. If they behave as they did all those decades ago, hopefully the FA will grow some balls and kick then straight back out again.
Tbh what you've described is my general opinion of the town rather than the club. So there's a sweeping statement on my part! But seeing the players and fans today, they seemed like decent folk so I think I'll keep an open mind about the club and separate it from my preconceived ideas about the town!
I'm happy for them and it's why we like football, everyone has a chance but not if the Yank owners had their way!
I know mate, yank owners are the enemy of all that's good and true about the game. Thank fck for the ayrabs.
Good of Cov to stay in the Championship to welcome us to a couple of "all police leave cancelled" derbies next season
Mate ... had little to do with Luton (other than greed in that they didn't make the game all ticket allowing Millwall plus assorted other hooligan factions to infiltrate all areas of the ground) ... certainly little to do with Luton fans themselves ... was "Millwall" against the establishment ... I actually went to the old Den for the previous round where we lost to Millwall and they invaded the pitch at the end and subsequently stormed the away section (which was caged thanks to Maggie - post Hillsborough - we were sitting ducks) - took 2 hours before the bules let us out of the ground - every Leicester fan that was there that night was sort of expecting what happened in the next round ...
Hope you have a hard hat at the ready for tonight. I can’t even begin to think just how insufferable chaos will be for you
Its a great club even had my village team up there playing about 1988……made us feel welcome provided us with food and drinks and I’ve not got a bad word to say about em
Easy win for Everton Today and Leicester and Leeds have no chance whatsoever of winning their games. A dull last day ahead.
