Quite confident there Fosse, you’ve got a history of making awful predictions (I won’t vault you mate, you know what they are).

One thing people forget in this competition every year is that Real Madrid own this competition, and they are more than capable of pulling City limb from limb on any given day.

Cup of Coffee anyone? <whistle>

Evan Ferguson and Cameron Archer are the future in the premier league. Both are going to be stars. I think Ferguson is pretty much already there. If I was Man Utd I’d be looking at him before Kane. He could be the number 9 for a good decade. He’s good enough.

Hoping he's on our list tbh.

Remember Fosse, you lot were looking great, season had turned a corner, battered Villa, battered Spurs, then you come to Old Trafford and we shoved you back into your miserable free fall… we broke your spirit.

If you could just rediscover a little bit of it before the next game that would be grand, thanks.

As a neutral, I think Osimhen would be a better signing for Man Utd than Kane. For the money Levy wants I’d just tell him to **** off. Osimhen is the next best thing after Haaland anyway in terms of longevity as far as number 9s go.

The thing with Kane is that he is guaranteed to get you goals. Look at the the ****e around him at Spurs he's still a goal scoring machine, so in a proper team he could be on Haaland's figures. So even if he's only got 2-3 years left at the top, that's enough to tempt Utd to lay out big money for him.

I agree though that Osimhen would be the better long term target.

Man Utd’s modus operandi since Ferguson left has been to throw money at players and hope it works, without thinking about the longevity of it. Signings like Schweinsteiger, Alexis Sánchez, resigning Pogba, resigning Ronaldo, Maguire, Lukaku, Di María, Fred etc. Even with this Antony they paid way over his market value. It’s like there’s no forethought into their transfer business. They just panic and spend. I think only Chelsea are as bad as Man Utd for this in the Premier League.

Should seriously look into the recruitment strategies of teams like Brighton, who are always thinking about the impact their signings will have 2, 3, 4 years down the line.

There's only really Schweinsteiger, Sanchez and Ronaldo second time you'd say there was no longevity or resale.

The rest, there should be.

They are more headline signings that lacking in longevity.

The problem is definitely the scouting we have, or lack of even having one, for definite. This should be resolved by the new management. It's not exactly an overnight process, these issue are caused by the Woodward era as much as anything.
