****ing scum. Always been the same. Good to see the Arsenal fan belting them all on his way out, though
Never get the outrage of an away fan in the home end. ****ing all acting like hard men cos they out number him ****s
When I use to have a season ticket, I'd go with my lad, but we'd always have a spare seat next to us - I'd purposely chose the area I sat in because of that seat, so it was handy when taking a friend. However, sometimes an away fan would buy the seat, because the away end is sold out (not often), it didn't bother me - although the stewards had a zero tolerance of away supporters in the family stand, so it was equally in their best interest to keep their mouth shut. I can remember it kicking off in the home end one time, because away supporters had got seats there, probably wall supporters can't really remember, fans in that end were moaning because the stewards didn't remove them, but I could see why, any attempt to remove them would have kicked off, so for once stewards applied the safer option of doing nowt. If I got chance of discounted tickets at an away ground, in the home end, why not.
Took Mrs RCL to see her Sheffield Wednesday at Charlton. Away tickets sold out so I got a Charlton season ticket holder to get us 2 tickets near the away end. We didn't jump around when Wednesday scored but when the (very few) Charlton fans around us left we and a few other Wednesday fans went down to the front to applaud the players and the away fans applauded us and viser versa. Two Charlton fans in the top teir started getting mouthy. Both looked like they were in their 60s ffs. It's such a bollocks thing in football imo
Just a couple of geriatrics that's all mate. I've been drinking with Charlton fans, even taken them in the home pub, which is no no with the bouncers, I just say don't show your colours and you'll be fine. But it meant where we were, I had to get them to the other end of the ground, so just stayed with them to ensure they didn't bump into any of our dickheads, then in the ground it was back to business as ususal, bunch of ****ers lol.
I think Neville is right and I don't often agree with him, that ETH is at least seeing the worst and can build on that pre-season, assuming he will have the funds to do that. Much the same for Liverpool, probably Euro Conference next season if they are lucky, and need to get themsleves a decent Champions League manager in.
Can only assume that Ten Hag plays the likes of Weghorst and Martial to say 'this is the ****e I have to work with'. Pointless though, as they don't care a **** anyway. If ten Hag can't get over this obsession with giving Weghost a game it'll soon cost him any favour he currently has with our support. Everyone can see he's not good enough, trying really hard and running around (slowly) a lot and clapping at the end doesn’t really excuse that.
She rah last week "klopps a disgrace, officials should be protected, points deductions should be given out" She rah when his team loses...
More trivia, Bradford City for their L2 game today have beaten their record attendance, which is now over 22,000. Their previous best was against Liverpool when they were in the Premier League. A time @JakartaToon reminded me of the other day on here.
Good idea or bad? Two losses on the trot and given days off? I can see why, i dont think i agree tho. All i know is Fergie wouldn't have let them go home after 2 losses
That's surely a 4th tier record too? Fantastic turnout though. Imagine a 4th division team pulling in 20k in aother country - wouldn't happen.
Got a ticket in the Everton end tonight. Can someone teach me some Scouse phrases? Not Sucky, obviously.
