I've thought for a long time it should be a booking just for touching the ref. It's all made to seem as though we respect the ref, but many a time it's just an act of coercive behaviours, to get the ref on side.

There's little respect for the refs compared to other sports. It's the whole culture from young kids (and their parents) upwards to the professional game.
