I was shocked to see Wrexham lost today at Halifax, blown a bit of a hole in their plans, gifting Notts County top spot on GD, Notts County need to win Monday to eradicate the game in hand Wrexham have.
I never seen mate. Not got much time to myself, at the moment. I felt blessed being able just to watch our game. Notts County seem to have dropped off with their form so winning the game in hand wont be a certainty.

Wrexham owners made a substantial loss this year I believe.

getting a lot of Yank tourists tho.
Yep. They'll not continue with their spending. The wage bill is already bigher than most in the league above them. It'll go pop at some point.

Salford haven't been able to spend their way out of League 1, that's for sure. Then again, Neville and them lot are **** with managers, hiring and sacking people all the time.

Salford are league 2 pal.

A lot of folk think chucking money at things guarantees success but without good management and decision making it means **** all. Most clubs that splash the cash dont get to where they want to be. Look at the state of Everton.

When people call King Pep a fraud, they show their naivety and blatant bitterness.

Oh yeah, my bad. They've had 7 managers in 9 years at Salford, this is the club owned by the fella who is on TV repeating how important it is to "stick with the manager" <laugh>

And bro, tread carefully @Sucky won't like that last bit, despite it being accurate like <whistle>

lol lots of teams in that league probably don't even make 3m a year. Or come close to it.

No idea what turnover or owt is, just seen the headline the other day. It must be a massive budget for a non league team. But they're not gonna be wanting to lose that each year

Because I was at a L2 game today, what you said got mention, everyone of the same opinion regarding Salford, went through way too many managers to make any progress, while lecturing how important it is to keep managers.

Although to be fair, before our new owner my lot were doing my nut in, keep on wanting Neil Harris out, I fooking had many an argument over it, now they all love him. Football fans eh!

Too much money floating around in National League with only one auto place up for grabs.

Personally if it was me, I'd go back to the old days of L2 South and L2 North amalgamating the National League. Then feed it from the from the NLS and NLN, with L1 clubs still coming down. Leave L1 structure though alone for now.

Have said myself, the north/south divide should come back, makes financial sense if nothing else.

When we were up in Scotland in Feb, on the way back we saw the Stranraer team bus coming the other direction, I say bus it was a clapped out old minibus, our kids school bus was in better nick, God knows how these clubs still keep going.

Absolutely, I got fooked off with going to places such as Fleetwood and the like, no disrespect to them, but L2 is unattractive enough, without journeys like that. Morecambe has no appeal on a Tuesday night in winter to a Southerner. Give me Dover, Ebbsfleet, Maidstone, Bromley, Dartford, Wimbledon etc. also your gate receipts increase.

Won the league, 24 points ahead of second place.

They did brilliant, really pleased for them. I still think of them as the old Gravesend & Northfleet, the owners of the new homes that way, wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about if I mentioned that now.

The national league will be tough as Maidstone found out this year. I hope they can step up.
