Really don't get where this idea that they're run on a shoestring comes from. Their owner also pumps his own money in which is really frowned upon when it's certain other clubs.

They've a net spend of £100m over the last 10 years, which includes a promotion to the premier, and have made a transfer profit of £80m over the last 3 years.

I actually agree, he's a better all round package than TAA who is better then him going forward but not as good defending. The fact that James is still very effective going forward and a solid defender gives him the edge. Not a lot in it though imo. They both should be the 2 full backs that England take, bin Walker.

That's a relevant argument, TAA is better going forward as I said. I don't want us playing a back 3 but it would help the full backs and enable them to be even more aggressive and give them more cover.
