Just seen the BBC text with comments from Clinton Morrison and Stephen Warnock. Perfect, both massive c£&ts so qualified to talk about womens game.
Pretty sure most teams have been doing that, Liverpool have change every 30 mins so 3 "teams" got a run out. Pre-season is what it is, friendlies to get fit and hopefully some tactics into a team. No need to make excuses or get over excited. I am really excited about our movement and one touch passing
At the level she is very good and should get respect for that (as are quite a few England players). The fact that some ****ers speak of them in the same breath as the men's team as some sort of comparability is not their fault. I have quite enjoyed watching the womens EC and think their standard has gone up massively over the last 10 years. Can they compete with men? no chance but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate their ability at the standard they play.
It's not their fault no, except when they join in and do it themselves. That's mainly pundits, not current players tbf. Women's football will deservingly find its audience. I'm pretty sure there will be a bit of a boom after these Euro's and it can find it's level in the market and kick on. Hoepfully then the BBC will do likewise.
Very nice strike. The game itself was good quality too, which it should be as these are the top end of their sport on show.
technically good but everything lacks that level of aggression we are familiar with in a game of football I don’t mind watching the womens game…top end..once I get over who I want to shag that is
Frank Lampard said there were "no excuses" for Everton's performance in their final match of their US tour, which ended in a heavy defeat by Minnesota United. Speaking to EvertonTV after the game, Lampard said: "The players have to work and understand we were in a relegation battle for a big portion of last season. "We had an amazing night [against Crystal Palace] and an amazing run… but, as soon as that finished, I put it to bed very quickly, so the players have to put it to bed as well, because we were in that fight for a reason. And if we don’t want to be in that situation again, they have to better and I have to be better. "The players must be up for the fact they have to fight to play in the team. For me, that starts on day one of pre-season and ends at the end of the season."
Gareth can learn a thing or two about in game management from the womens gaffer a little tweek, relevant subs and she changed the game bim bam bosh My man is like a rabbit in the headlights when the Mens team are in need of his inspiration
@Peej shot his load over Man Utd doing us in a meaningless pre season friendly I wonder what his thoughts on this are?
