yea i think they should enforce some sort of rule like if theres more than 50 fans who invade the pitch (home fans), it's automatic game loss. That will show just prevent the ****s from getting onto the pitch and keep safety high. Imagine celebrating then getting done over for being knobheads
they only get dibs, first dibs, special dibs or whatever dibs because they’ve already been going week in week out. They don’t deserve dibs…they paid for something and they’ve had it. What’s all this first dibs on everything for the rest of your lives? naaah…that’s exactly the issue. There you are going on like it’s a closed house and the spoilt, entitled attitude that comes with it.
Naaah, like saying you have to switch to more expensive car insurance or swap your favorite boozer to give others a change. IF you dont have loyalty before, why shoudl you be rewarded now?
not really we’re talking about football we’re not talking about a normal business One day everyone who always tries to relate football to a normal job will wake up…probably won’t but they should do. Did you as a kid dream of working where you work everyday? No I bet you dreamt of playing for the toffee men tho or Liverpool maybe…I dunno. I could go on and on with demonstrating the difference between football/sport and other jobs but I cba. Football sells itself buy trying to get you to fall in love with it…thats why people support teams based on emotional reasons. So these comparisons to normal business and their etiquette doesn’t wash with me. Businesses want to repay your ‘loyalty’ by making you better offers because they know you have no emotional attachment..there needs to be a financial benefit in it for the customer or he/she will go somewhere else. With football we support who we support from day 1 till we die(apart from Welshie)
If you carry on watching the Viera clip, you'll see it's the Everton fans who end up shielding him and then leading him away. The ****s are in the minority but sadly they taint the lot. I've never really minded fans coming on to the pitch after an important win, especially the last home game, but unfortunately as per usual, it's the few ****ers that spoil it for the rest as I expect it will be curbed completely.
What do you mean by curbed completely? It's already illegal now. The reality is if there's enough people who want to go on then there is no real way of stopping it. All you can do is try and get players and officials off as quickly as possible.
Glad to see fans trying to deal with the knobs, but still, they shouldn't be on the pitch. No excuse. Especially after the incidents at the city ground
A point deducted per fan who enters the field of play. Only it is decided there and then after everyone has returned to their seats, via VAR. So you have Oliver, Tierney and Moss sat in an office somewhere using the technology to tally up fans, and next to it on the big screens is the PL table changing in real time as the points total drops. 500 fans invaded the pitch? Sorry lads, we're playing in the Isthmian League next season. That'll teach them.
Should ban drinking in stadiums and in pubs around the grounds with random breathalyser tests introduced. Willing to bet anyone those that crossed the line from a friendly pitch invasion to becoming violent will have been high on weed
I think we have seen an increase in football related trouble more recently. Part of me thinks it ties in with the increase in knife crime and domestic violence cases, which leads me to believe it is in someway linked to the lockdowns during covid - I certainly think there is more to this than is being discussed or admitted. Sadly it will see the government and authorities applying even more draconian restrictions on us. So in short ffs calm yourselves down, and enjoy yourselves without the constant need for stupidity and aggro.
Yeh I know it's illegal. Curbed meaning they'll take stronger action against it to try and stop it completely. I've heard talk this morning of punishing club and fans by reducing the numbers allowed into grounds where this is a problem.
