I've been up and down the leagues with Leeds and in league 1 the refs are ****e but evenly ****e for everyone. They are consistently ****e. We had some absolute shocking refs in the Championship to the point where the local press and alot of fans were convinced the EFL were trying to keep the bigger clubs down there to give them more bargaining power for the TV deals. It's more likely we were just ****e. I naively thought having VAR would at least give us a fair shout in the PL but we've been on the end of some really baffling ones with VAR too. It's not sport at this level any more. It's business. I've no doubt there is all sorts going on behind the scenes.
Haven't seen something that bad since that german goalie Schumacker took out that French lad in the Euros. He didn't get sent off either. Shocking, truly shocking. I actually can't watch that (again) it's so bad.
Hopefully three points and a four-nil victory over a City who have KDB straight red carded in the process.
Like I say mate, I'm even more shocked, when you speak to people how normalised this has become, dependent on your club badge. I use to think it was bantz of sorts with the various Prem rivalries at the top level - sadly I've learned this isn't bantz, it's cheating, corruption at the highest levels, and fans are just accepting it. Now I can see why Liverpool were on course for the quadruple, who wouldn't be with help from the men in black.
You don't get yellow cards shown for something that obvious, by showing a yellow a ref is ad mitting he has seen it and questions could be asked.
Against Arsenal you say, has @PINKIE mentioned this or has he been bought as well? Fooksake, I've just realised, the penny has dropped, that's how Pinkie bought his three grand bike, bribery to keep quiet.
who is there to complain to? tbh I'd love to see some ST holders of 'lesser' clubs make a class-action suit against the FA for either corruption or executive incompetence.
