Do you remember when Pedro Mendes "scored" against Man U in 2005, the ball was way over the line but it wasn't given. I mean, you agree it was actually over the line, right? I mean, there's glass half full and then there's not recognising the concept of a glass.

How is that similar to this?

It was a yellow card, not a red. Move on

Weirdly, the ref giving just a yellow for this...

...probably helped us in the long run, as if Wolves were down to ten they probably would have gone full busparquet, so we'd have likely got a point at best

Of course, nobody say this to Dermot Gallagher as he bristles at his Polymarket stake failing to pan out

Managed to avoid football all of today. Just got in and saw the West Ham score.

This really has been a season of everything that could possibly have gone against us, has gone against us.

Love how a few posters on a football forum genuinely believe they know more about the rules and laws of football than every official and ex pro.

They’ve got themselves convinced there is an industry wide conspiracy to relegate Spurs <laugh>

Would keep Simons

There's a top player in there surrounded by average
Not for me tbh. Not consistent enough. Not sure he’d make our strongest XI when everyone is fit too and I doubt he’s the type who’d wanna play backup, it’s largely why he left the top the clubs to chase regular football.

Fans who have been watching for 50 years plus know the laws at least as well as most ex-players but like the ex pros they are rather biased towards their own team...Some of us have been referees too!
