Going back to 2010 and 2016 is some real mental gymnastics <laugh>
Bringing up how the bloke in charge of PGMOL (in)famously ****ed a World Cup final due to not nipping the challenges the Dutch were putting in early is "mental gymnastics" now?

This is the problem: refereeing is not being overseen by the likes of Pierluigi Collina, someone who was damn good at their job and was respected by players and coaches alike, it's being overseen by Howard Webb and Mark Clusterfuck who were so abysmal at their jobs that nobody batted an eye when there wasn't a single English ref in the pool for the 2018 World Cup

They all a bit uppity the mods here from what I remember in the hiagcienda days

Wasn’t allowed to swear

Is that still a fuking thing here btw?
I was told off just for writing the word ‘Jew’ even deleted the word from my post on the thread.

The gaffer seems happy enough

Tottenham manager Roberto de Zerbi speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Sorry because we didn't deserve to lose the game. We played a good game, maybe not enough to win but we were unlucky in a few situations in the first half.

"I cannot say anything to players because they gave their best in terms of attitude and spirit.”

The fact that the standards of refereeing have been set by people who have been shown to be grossly incompetent in front of audiences of millions is pretty ****ing relevant, no matter how hard you try to deny the evidence of your eyes and ears

He’s earning millions so won’t care. He won’t get blamed for the relegation and can walk away in the summer straight into another job.
