What happened to Spurs before you were born should not bother you. Football teams are for diversion from daily life. Suffering that second half is bad enough for anyone following Spurs, loading yourself with 91 years is too much. I hope to see your sarcastic self back soon. You have plenty of ammunition.
its a great distraction...went today with my youngest and (result aside) loved it...it was a late birthday pressie from her...she came up from Bournemouth for the weekend to go with me.
I'll go next season whatever league we're in ... and will be my usual grumpy mo fo self <laugh>

I think that's that.

Maybe God's very elaborate way of telling me to spend more time with my family.

I've been steadily losing interest in the game for years. If we drop I think I'm probably done.

Call me fair-weather, traitor, whatever, I've seen us win two league cups and a Europa League.

It isn't worth the money or the fuss.
I’m the same, so fed up with the game in general.
The situation around Spurs that ****s me off the most is the way the fans get treated for reasons we’ve discussed at length on here. Regarding dropping into the championship, part of me quite likes the idea because I watch a lot of lower league football and it’s thoroughly enjoyable. But the other part of me is left with a bad taste in my mouth at the thought of supporting this ownership whose neglect would have taken us down.

I’ve lost interest football massively for a while now but if anything I might even get a bit intrigued if we go down. New vibe, different away days available, in theory tickets will be cheaper too.

I just can't/won't accept that we built a billion quid stadium for the "vibes".

And tbh if we do go down and ENIC remain in charge, we're not coming up for a very very long time, so eventually those vibes will just become normal.

Preston away once is fun. By the third time it probably starts to grate.

I take the opposite view...
He might as well stay in charge. The chances of finding the right person to come in at this stage and turn this around are slim to non-existant.
And difficult as it is to imagine, swapping coaches at this stage will make us an even bigger laughing stock.
Yep, the chances are slim. But the current bloke has mustered up 1 point, and a consolation win in a CL match that was already dead and buried.
Don’t care whether we’re an even bigger laughing stock. We’re already at rock bottom. Another change might keep us in the league. Carry on down this path, and we definitely won’t be.

The owners stand to lose billions if Spurs go down they will be very keen to entertain us by gaining a quick promotion it will be cost effective to support the costs for a year to do that.

If im going to support a lower league side, I'd rather do it properly and support one of my local teams who actually need the money instead of continuing to prop up the clowns of ENIC and a group of players who by and large I couldn't give a toss about.

Modern football is a bastardisation of obscene money, set pieces, long throws, VAR checks, and international tournaments no one asked for.

It's basically complete ****e, but we're all too emotionally invested to recognise it.

But are we certain the owners will want a quick promotion. They may decide to focus on their other activities and forget about football. It is always ENIC out.

I'll take the credit of positing this theory years ago.

There is every chance they pour all of their focus into making us Europe's first permanent NFL franchise, thereby tapping into a much bigger market, and simply leave the football side to shrivel and die.

There has been zero improvement under Tudor, these players only perform when there is zero expectation on them, when they are expected to pick up results they crumble, it`s a pish weak mentality that is festering throughout the club, which has been manufactured by owners with the wrong priorities and no clue what they are doing from a sporting perspective.

First half was an exercise in Clattenburgian "game management", where fouls don't exist no matter who is clattered, kicked, stamped on or choked in the opposition penalty area

Second half was a repeat of Palace, though, where Tudor's changes had the negative effect

OK...it is now apparently the case that substituting VDV wasnt down to injury but 'tactical' to add more energy to the left side. WTAF!!!
A first half that we had largely dominated, but the coach thought it would be better to replace him with an out of match practice Udogie and replace Spence with an out of match practice Bergvall - and plonk him on the right side of MF.

Not saying that either VDV or Spence were MOTM candidates at that stage, but maybe just replacing the total ineffective Sarr with an almost in-form Simons might have been a better option?

Keeping Solanke on while subbing off Richy was the fatal blow, for me

Not only did Solanke have a poor match, but wasn't there talk during the week of him carrying an ankle injury?
