Maybe the abnormal parade put Spurs in their comfort zone and resulted in even more complacency.

I’ve lost interest football massively for a while now but if anything I might even get a bit intrigued if we go down. New vibe, different away days available, in theory tickets will be cheaper too.

At the risk of sounding like a wind up, you might indeed enjoy it. It seems a lot more ‘real’ and honest than the strange place that is the Prem - . not saying I want us to go back down as we’ve only just come up but I do miss the championship.

Tel was driving us in the first half and we missed that when he went off. We played well in the first without taking our chances. Second half we went in to slow mo which played into Forest hands.
I don't see much point in sacking Tudor who has done the time to learn about the squad. A new manager does not have time now unless we get Redknapp back

And difficult as it is to imagine, swapping coaches at this stage will make us an even bigger laughing stock.

The first half was ok. We were largely on the front foot, created a few chances and as you say, most good things came through Tel.
We even almost bounced straight back after their goal.
Tel was still positive in the 2nd half but got no support. Taking him off was another strange decision unless he was carrying a knock.
Gray was excellent and despite the goal we'd looked safe defensively.
The halftime subs didn't help either: Udogie was AWOL defensively and added no continuity going forwards. Bergvall understably took a while to get in to the game and for 20 minutes we had no presence down the right.
But it was the loss of any movement and tempo that was unforgivable. Romero not helping matters, but the lack of movement ahead of him was appalling.

In the end we got exactly what we deserved: the square root of **** all.

I think its all too late with this bunch.
They sparked into life for 180 minutes, arguably you could add the first half 45, but then dropped off a ledge. Even if another new coach can get them to function for the odd game, they are never going to be consistent enough to put a string of wins together.

I do wonder about Romero you would think with 3 top defenders we would be hard to score against but clearly we are not. Too often opposition payers get a free run in our box. Who is that down to?

I agree the players are crap but the manager is also crap

Can’t change the players but can change the manager. Anything to maybe get something is worth trying

You’re right and as it stands, Spurs haven’t even been in the bottom three yet.

It’s just momentum and results that make it seem inevitable to some

It can make a difference...but not when there's a ****ing great hole at the centre of your football club.

At Spurs, there's nothing there. It's been gutted of anything positive. We're a hollow rotten shell...

It took 10 years of mismanagement to get to this point. It'll take just as long to put it right again.

What happened to Spurs before you were born should not bother you. Football teams are for diversion from daily life. Suffering that second half is bad enough for anyone following Spurs, loading yourself with 91 years is too much. I hope to see your sarcastic self back soon. You have plenty of ammunition.
