Good to see Bergvall back. Always lookd to go forward

On this I think we can all agree, we have had a number of false dawns in Europe this season, with almost all of out best performances being saved for this tournament. The tempo of Champions leage games has suited us better than the more in your face backs against the wall premier league, even our best premier league games recently City and Liverpool are sides who play more like a champion league team. On Sunday we have to match Forest man for man for every ball and that is where we all too often have come up short.Sunday will be a better measure even though Atleti are a better team than Forest.
Spurs had no pressure on them tonight. Sunday is must win and usually they crumble

I saw a stat after the Liverpool game saying we ran 8 more kilometres than we did against Newcastle in Frank’s last game!Anyone else think we've looked a lot fitter in the last couple of games?
I really can't recall seeing the players run for 90 minutes under Frank like they did against Liverpool or Atleti
Similarly, Xavi seems to have bulked up a bit lately
I just hope they haven’t given up on it and rest the likes of Anderson and gibbs-white!The importance of Sunday is enormous. Losing would be an unmitigated disaster, leading to a potential existential crisis for the club.
5 days ago we had all but written off our chances: no confidence, no cohesion, no real effort or commitment, no obvious plan and a squad seemingly in disarray with themselves and the fanbase.
The last two games haven't miraculously solved that, but the team have shown that both in a very tough PL fixture and a high profile CL game that they CAN possibly turn it around.
Certainly no guarantees at this stage, but getting the 'no wins this year' and '4 losses in a row' monkeys off the teams back are a good start. Yes, it may be that Atleti were not at their best, but a victory was mentally huge. Going in to Sunday with another defeat and/or another uninspired performance would have been a killer for players and fans alike.
Now, all we can do is pray for the most embarrassing of defeats for a certain East Midlands club later this evening....![]()

Fair point, although I was thinking that they aren't exactly flying with confidence ATM and another crushing defeat might add a nail to their coffin.Surely it’s better to have Forest still in Europe for as long as possible? Causing them fixture congestion etc
They aren't playing like a 'B' team! Playing some lovely stuff and incredible that they aren't ahead...by 4 or 5 goals!!Safe to say that Forest are writing this one off looking at their line up!

Spurs prioritised the Europa whereas Forest’s lineup suggests they are prioritising the league when you look at that starting eleven. We had the luxury of being safe last season whereas Forest don’t have that. Why so ??
They could replicate what Spurs did last season.
And if they won the EL but got relegated, surely
that is better than spending ages in the PL and
winning nothing ...

Financially it’s not
Been years since Forest have won a major trophy.
They should be winning trophies more often ...
