Dithering is why

Paratici was pushing him in November, when a kick up the backside would have been enough to get some points posted, but the club didn't act until February so now they're in a spot between having to act decisively at the second time of asking or dithering once more

There are no obvious candidates and any serious contenders (Keane, De Zerbi, etc.) would expect to be given the job permanently from the off.

At this stage I'd give it to Redknapp and ask Defoe to be his assistant.

That was actually a nice move between Pigeon and Solanke, then a wicked long range effort by Souza, who seems to be playing as a 10.
