Exactly what's neededKinsky was excellent in his first game - a high pressure cup game against Liverpool. In that game he displayed not only good **** stopping, but a calmness and confidence that continues to be sadly lacking in Vicario.

True enough, although in Vicarios case, his problems are not just the poor save selection, failure to catch, lack of presence in his area, poor distribution and general flapping, it also includes a poor attitude towards his teammates, always looking to blame them - particularly the younger ones.Perhaps the real problem is that due to the overall team being so poor, individual mistakes are costly to the point of being deadly.
I can recall Ederson making loads of dumb mistakes for City, but it didn't matter because overall they were food enough to make amends for them.
We don't have that luxury, so every mistake is magnified and jumped on by the fans, when the real problem is the bigger picture not being strong enough to support the weight of a mistake.
Vicario's main issue is he's had a bad case of the yips for a large chunk of the season, and when a keeper gets the yips it's not like they can shake it off by sticking in a couple of goals like a striker canTrue enough, although in Vicarios case, his problems are not just the poor save selection, failure to catch, lack of presence in his area, poor distribution and general flapping, it also includes a poor attitude towards his teammates, always looking to blame them - particularly the younger ones.
But apart from that, he's a top keeper!

It's like when Robbo went from a top keeper to somebody who couldn't catch a cross if somebody told him exactly where the ball was going ahead of time

Kinsky game to mistake ratio is high though.
If I had my way, I’d get rid of both him and Vicario and sign a proper keeper.
Just a reminder we have Ange to thank for Vicario as he chose him over Raya![]()
This season it's been noticeable, for example getting nutmegged by PalaceNot just this season.

Likely explanation is it's tied into Frank's insistence we didn't need to defend Zone 14, which is the reason Vic saw several 25+ yard shots sail into the top corner in a short space of time, and that's utterly tanked his confidence
Same thing affected Robbo for usWeak mentality from Vicario then
Same thing affected Robbo for us
This does highlight the issue with a keeper getting the yips, though: while a striker can get over it by tonking in a couple of goals, a keeper really has no way to get over the yips other than a change of scenery
David James is the best example of this: absolutely plagued by the yips at Liverpool, helped in no small part with pundits and tabloid writers dubbing him Calamity James, and his reputation didn't recover until his stints at Villa and West Ham that got him back into England contention (ironically at the exact same time Robbo was crippled by his own dose of the yips)
Jens Lehmann's another example, infamously losing his place in the Milan team partway through a match, but able to rebuild his rep at Dortmund for a few years before winding up at Arsenal...who needed a keeper PDQ as Richard Wright's yips were terminal
He did once mouth off to Romero in trainingYou’re giving avocation far too much credit imo.
For me, he’s not a very good keeper and lucky to have got a move to a PL club. He’s also gobby towards certain players (usually young players) but doesn’t say anything to others.
Weak man
Tricky one. In Europe we tend to play more to expected form, only losing to teams above us in the money league. Atletico are just a few places below us with a less expensive squad so it should be close.Do we think Spurs get a result tomorrow or will the league form finally affect European games?

Having just seen the clip of them boarding the plane I wouldn't be betting on them - other than as a heavy defeat. The body language was dreadful.Do we think Spurs get a result tomorrow or will the league form finally affect European games?

Well despite the general views you see, Spurs' wage bill is exactly where you would expect from their position in the money league except that 3 Saudi clubs plus Aston Villa are above us.I thought their squad and wage bill would be higher than Spurs.
