I'm not going to look at it either Swanny. I remember it only too well.

The other quirky one I remember, painfully, was when I backed Devon Loch to win in the GN. I was only a kid and I'd picked out the eventual 1st and 2nd for all my family to back before they went to football (one of the few games I missed in those days). After they left I changed the bets to a single bet on Devon Loch to win. They were going to come home thinking they had cleaned up. I think I cried.

Chautauqua, test open class sprinter in the country, last night mad a mess of the G1 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley. This is a track where sprint winners usually are on pace, but champions can do some things better than others. Race 7. I hope overseas viewers are allowed to watch.

What is it with these sporting folk? First Lewis Hamilton uses his Zonda to smack a parked car in the wee hours of the morning, then Tony McCoy gets into a bingle on the M4. I like McCoy's stance on the incident. "A van collided with a car in front of me and I had nowhere to go." Sorry Tony, I think that's called driving too close to avoid the unexpected? Better known as **** driving.
