Strange and sudden, but then again, we know Pearsons temperament and Derby go through managers at a pace. So should be expected really...

It's totally his own fault, and he was a complete t**t, but I still feel gutted for him. He wanted that job so so much, for so so long, and based on management, He earned it. Then this story comes out so soon after getting appointed....

I think Big Sam will be in tears if this is true.

Based on the story, I assumed this was coming. I however really wanted Big Sam to be England Manager before Roy got it, was glad he got it this time. I really thought he would be a great old fashioned England Manager.

He is going to be in bits tonight. He had the passion and love for the country and for the title as England Manager that we needed. Can't believe he risked all that for that money. Where do England go now!? Will have to be another foreign manager or.....Steve Bruce/Southgate.... I'd much much rather Big Sam, despite this news story.

WHY??? He's nothing but a common criminal! It's not as of he needed the money, it's just pure greed. He had the biggest job in English football and threw it away, he doesn't deserve any sympathy and won't get it from me. :bandit:

Villa concede again in the last 5 minutes - I think that's the 4th or 5th game that's happened.
Wigan beat Wolves and Brentford thrash Reading and Derby beat Cardiff. So Reading beat Huddersfield on Saturday and then lose heavily tonight.
Huddersfield and Wendies both win
Some strange scores.

Even if we lose tomorrow evening, we'll still be 2nd!!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm
