Now BT Sport won't even stream to my Laptop. Which was the only place left I could watch it. I'm now getting shafted for totally nothing.

I recently claimed 4 x £70 direct debit payments from my Bank,
incorrectly increased by my Energy Supplier.
Go to your Bank and complain. It's easy
Oh really? And the bank does all the sorting out?

I didn't mind it originally. I was surprised they did it automatically, but thought that I'd let it go, as would be nice to see Champions League football. Now I can't stream it, so why am I paying for it.

I'll look into that, thanks.

FML bor, sorry for delay, your DD is not under your control but is in the hands of the other party, they should have notified of any changes to the amount they are claiming. Your only recourse is to tell your bank to cancel the DD but before taking that action look at any contract clauses you have with BT.

My previous energy supplier estimated me a bill of approximately £600 for a weeks supply, naturally I queried this figure but to no avail. I cancelled the DD before they could take out the £600 and informed the company I was implementing the disputes procedure. I shot down their claim of the amount they claimed by stating I had photographic evidence of the meter readings. After threatening to take this dispute to Ofgem they agreed to my terms and settled accordingly.

Your problem is proving you received no notification of the amount change they were claiming. Your bank can only act on your instructions, if you agree to setting up a DD it is then in the hands of the other party what the charge but the amount should be agreed by you. Have you asked BT how they notified you of the amount change. Obviously you are in possession of more details than me.

Thanks Norkie.

FML bor, your bank obviously received notice of the amount change, and assumed you had been informed of this change. Get in touch with BT, asking them how they communicated the change, usually nowadays by email. Regarding the service BT are providing you know what you are paying for, are you getting that. If BT reply they notified you by email, check both your incoming mail and also junk mail etc, also check Live Messenger if you have that.

Before world war 3 breaks out, I'd just like to say 'don't shoot the messenger' <ok>
I found it on Newsnow and knew you'd all love to see / disagree with it

Well Cromer - I certainly agree with it, especially the comments on RM and MO. I really think that whether we stay in the PL or not, then replacing both MUST be a top priority as soon as the transfer window opens. I'm sure Toffolo would be an improvement at LB and so allow Brady to be more effective and play further forward.

If we do go down, I'd say that was a very sound option, likewise involvement for Josh Murphy and this lad Maddison. I'm sure we've not seen the best of Brady in the LB role - and I suspect he's only playing there because Toffers is deemd too young and inexperienced for this league and Olsson is (correctly, imho) out of favour because he's an accident waiting to happen.
In the meantime, Pinto is a bit of an enigma? Fairly big (for NCFC) money signing, yet an aging, devoid of much pace warhorse still gets the nod ahead of him most weeks? :emoticon-0112-wonde
To expect a defence that conceded 50 goals in the championship to make it at a higher level is a recipe for disaster - as Alex and the board are now discovering :(
