More and more talk Jose will take over Man U at the end of the season.

I'm really surprised.

I heard a member of the Man U board, saying Jose was sure he would get the job when he was at Real, before going back to Chelsea. Apparently, the vibe in the board was, they would never want someone of the the personality of Jose as their boss. When Jose was sure he would be offered the job, apparently, there was no chance of them even approaching him.

So I really thought all the rumors were from Jose's side. Seems like it might happen. They must be desperate, so overlooked their "morals"

I'm not sure how well Jose will do there.
 
Sitting through MOTD. Rudd cocked up again for that first goal. I thought it when I saw it. He was also at fault for the second!

I said in the line up prediction, he has been poor. I would put Ruddy back in, motivated by being embarrassed by being second choice......If Rudd is still in goal in the next match....I dunno what's going on.
 
I had a whinge last weekend at the BBC choices of FA cup games to screen.
The ManUre game on Friday night, vs Derby and Chelsea vs M K Dons on Sunday.
My point was why not give other, under-the-radar sides a bit of exposure / support?
Lo and behold, guess what the "main event" at 1600 hrs this afternoon is - albeit on satellite rather than terrestrial TV ...
Yep, you guessed it - Chelsea (again) vs Man Ure (again <doh>)

Is this a good time to tell you that next Saturday's satellite games are Chelsea (yet again) and....yep, Manure (yet again!)? <laugh>

Have to say, that really irks me too.
 
Stating the obvious, the TV companies want vast numbers of people to buy Sky Sports or BT Sports contracts and consider the best encouragement is to show the top teams as often as they are contractually allowed!

That is a real piss off <grr> They must have done a survey in Gt Yarmouth, counted the PL replica shirts on view and assumed that was a national representation <yikes> <laugh>
I shall watch Bourne-mouth vs Arsenal and then go down the pub for round two <cheers>

Paul Clement Sacked by Derby after 8 months. Not surprising. Untested as a manager, and spent stupid money. Always smelt like it was heading for a fall.
 
They're on a poor run but still in with a chance, though if auto promotion is what the chairman requires then Clement probably was gonna fall short. Who theyll replace him with is anybodies guess (or has that been announced too?)

Yea, interesting. Always wondered why they were never in line for a takeover. I can't remember the reason said now.
Is it something about the ground being small, and can't expand it or something, put a lot of foreign investors off. A talksport reporter who's an Everton fan was talking about it a few years ago.

If contract talks break down. There is a Chinese club willing to pay 38M for him......If true....the world of football is really starting to change in front of our eyes.

The massive worry, is, as if players don't get payed a disgusting amount for so little already. All their agents will now need to say is "this club in China...."

Also, with all this total Bullsh*t about how they want to save the same "top" European clubs in a champions league, or super league. With the spending, the money out there, the players moving out there etc. How long before the Champions League say......"This is too limited for promoting football!" (Like Quatar) "we better add Asian teams to this.

World football is changing very fast right now I think. We always knew World Cups and Euros were always bought these days. I bet the euro club comps will get infested very soon.

Listening to commentary on Wet Sham V Loserpool and sounds like both sides could have had 2 penalties!!!
Also, MK Dons beating Boro!!!

Damn - JR has equalised for Boro in the 93rd minute!!!!!
