True enough. I certainly don't have one, and it would seem to invite the question 'how much do you support them?'. Just say when City lose it 'hurts' a 10 out of 10, what's the correct level of 'pain' for your second team losing? All or nothing is the only way!

I kind of had a second team for a while. As a Canary in excile it is not always possible for me to get back and see city, particulaly when I was a student. So for a while I would go and see and support York. I kept looking out for their results for a few years after but not really anymore. I wouldn't buy a half n half but I think it is possible to have a second team. I have another friend who is a Villa fan who has a soft spot for Hull for much the same reason.

As if he knows that it's the club doing it through the media! It's lazy journalism, writing the same story based off the failed bids in the summer.

Nothing wrong with having a "soft spot" for another team IMO. Don't get me wrong I'm yellow and green through and through since being born in Lakenham in late 50's, but living on the Island for the last 30 years or so its either Southampton or Pompey if you want to watch league football. Having several friends in Portsmouth I find myself at Fratton Park now and again so look out for Pompey as opposed to the "scummers" down the road!!
 
I think I'm the same as the General really, having been a student in Sheffield and Bristol, I like to see all 4 of their teams do well, and occasionally go to games just because I fancy some live football somewhere different. It never goes any further than "Awh, shame Bristol City are in the relegation zone", etc, but it keeps me half interested in the championship and league one.

I keep an eye on Arsenal as My late Grandad was a life long fan, as they came from London, and some members of the family from there support them. Plus coincidentally, my Girlfriends Father and Brother are Arsenal fans as her parents came from London too.

That's about as far as I go.

Yes, he was very dignified throughout the "conference" and impressively so at the very end. Top marks to the man <ok>
 
Agree with you both. I find it hard to warm to him as a personality, but he does always conduct himself respectfully. He wins marks for that Press Conference.
 
Bournemouth also found guilty re FFP last year although punishment yet to be decided. Will probably be a fine which isn't really a punishment, but could well be points deduction.
