I reckon we'd have been promoted as champions last season if we'd stuck with him, his record in the Championship is pretty phenomenal

Ronald Koeman spot on which what he said about Gary Monk. I feel really gutted for him. It's strange, some managers get sacked and it doesn't even resonate. Some managers, of clubs I have no interest in, it really hits a nerve and I feel bad for them.

Kind of like Pardew at Newcastle. Which is why I'm so enjoying them do so well, even though I don't particularly like Palace usually.

It's sad they gave up on Monk. It's strange how it always happens to British managers given a chance like that. 2-3 months of poor form, and they are out. Some foreign coach, probably would have been given more time. I think Monk will get a solid championship job and take that team up. There was no way Swansea would have gone down under him.

...Sorry for the rant. Just my thoughts.

I see we won't have to face Schweinsteiger when we play ManUre - Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger will be banned for three matches after accepting a Football Association charge of violent conduct.. The incident was missed by our 'friend' Clattenenburg (probably didn't want his hair to get ruffled up!!!). http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/3506433

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. They might bring someone in who ca play football!

How on earth is Gus Poyet considered the front-runner for the Swansea job? What's he done so far in his short managerial career to look like the right man for them?

I said in the matchday thread I thought Bournemouth would win. No doubt Man U won't play this badly against us,
