Haha! Nice. (I can really imagine Stephen Fry saying that)

They are due a big win to shut up the critics. That's what worries me. Hopefully moral will be so low for them, and lifted for us. So that we can give them a really battle.

Oops....should have read on before posting..

From the guardian...
"Nottingham Forest will launch an investigation after Derby County’s Bradley Johnson was jostled by a pitch invader after Friday’s Championship match.
Nélson Oliveira’s early goal proved the difference at the City Ground as the Reds ran out 1-0 victors against their in-form local rivals. It ended Forest’s eight-match winless streak and led to celebrations spilling on to the pitch after the final whistle. One of the fans made a beeline for the Derby midfielder Johnson, who was forced to push him away forcefully, and Forest have promised to investigate the incident."

I find this hard to understand - especially from Liverpool fans. "Sections of home supporters left their seats after Scott Dann headed Palace ahead eight minutes from time." Certainly in our promotion winning season of 2010-2011, we scored numerous late goals - especially against Reading and Derby at CR!!! <laugh>

That's true. they were pouring out of the Jarrold around 85 mins on Saturday and so missed nearly 10 minutes of play. I just don't get people paying £40+ for a ticket only to turn up late, go early for a half time pie, return late and then clear off before the match finishes. I can only presume that people are doing this to spare themselves the pain of watching our home games by minimising their actual exposure to the action..

Vieira to take over as head coach of New York City, which is the American club the City owners own. Looks like someones getting trained up for a managing role.

Moyes has been sacked then, hopefully the Geordies will take a punt when they sack McClaren. Another relegation spot will be filled then IMO.

In other news Swansea have released Michu, how bad must he be now if they're playing that carthorse Gomis up front !

I really liked him first season! Lets take a punt!! :emoticon-0105-wink:

Evidently he's joining some 4th tier Spanish club <yikes>
Blimey! What a fall for him. I really don't understand. Was it just attitude? Confidence? Both? He was a beast his first Prem season. Power, Height, Finishing, Touch, Skill. Where did that all go?! He was like £10-15 Million worth of player.

o0o, just seen FC United are at home to Chesterfield in the FA Cup tonight on BT Sport. Might watch a bit of that.

Some wealthy Yank hasas just acquired a 25% stake in the Cherries - AFC Bournemouth is delighted to announce completion of a transaction with Chicago based PEAK6 Investments, L.P., which has resulted in PEAK6 investing in the club and acquiring a 25% share interest.

I was going to post about this. What does this mean? Are they going to have a January budget to keep them up? Or will they be silent investors just to solidify the club and invest in the stadium and youth system etc. Interesting/worrying to see what happens.

So how come a ****ty little club on the South Coast can attract that kind of investment and not us ? I'll tell you why,IMHO it's because the Stowmarket two have no intention of relinquishing power despite what they've said in the past [HASHTAG]#timeforchange[/HASHTAG]

I thought they were already quite wealthy, but I'm sure he could certainly add to the kitty for new players in January. Yes, it will be interesting to see what transpires.
I have to agree KIO. <ok>
IMO, McNally needs to loosen the purse strings considerably so we can recruit better players.

KIO serieously mate you make me feel better about myself. I keep laughing when you respond to me. My father, a lot of my friends and my girlfriend always say I'm doom and gloom and waiting for the worst. You make me feel like I'm such a hippy optimist! :emoticon-0116-evilg:emoticon-0105-wink:
