I see that Tefty has taken temporary charge of Rosenborg. One of my all time favourites, as I suspect is the case with the rest of you. I cannot remember a bad word being spoken/written about him which tells it all. Good luck Alex and a job at Norwich in the future?

Michael Carrick has been included in the list of managers of the EPL season. Yeah, whatever. Managed 15 games. Very short season. But it is Manure.

Not sure why that's particularly controversial?
2nd in form table since appointment, only to man city.
Let's be honest the only recipients considered should be Iraola, Carrick. At a push Le Bris or Brighton's manager.

Head coach Arne Slot has been sacked by Liverpool after two seasons in charge.

The Dutchman, 47, guided the Reds to their 20th league title in his debut season but they have struggled during his second year, finishing fifth in the Premier League.

Recently departed Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is the leading contender to replace Slot.

The club have approached the Spaniard to discuss the role.

Despite still qualifying for next season's Champions League, Liverpool finished with 60 points - their lowest tally since the 2015-16 campaign and 25 points behind champions Arsenal.

Seeing as some of Klopp's key men Sala, Robertson and Van Dijk are all over 30/ leaving, they are in need of a rebuild in some key positions. This seems harsh, any transition from one generation to another is hard. Ferguson was very good at managing it, most clubs struggle

Ipswich Town have announced that Kieran McKenna has decided to step down as manager and will leave the club.

The 40-year-old took charge of the Tractor Boys in 2021 and guided them to three promotions in the past four seasons, two of which have taken the club into the Premier League.

They will play in the top flight in 2026-27 after finishing runners-up in the Championship last term.

McKenna has been linked with the Fulham job but said his departure from Portman Road is because of his desire to take a break from the game and spend more time with his family.

"I feel this is the right time for me to step aside," McKenna said.

"I do so with great pride at the incredible progress we have made and with huge hope and optimism for the future of the club.

"After giving so much to the role over the previous five seasons, I now look forward to taking a break from management and dedicating some time to my family, who have been with me every step of my career so far."
