So, do we think Nelson should be in the team / squad for Sunday, or will he be banished for a bit longer to learn how play for the crest on the front of the shirt, not the name printed on the back?
I guess it'll all be down to conversations between him and the gaffer, but please, no bad blood in a newly assembled squad this early in the season!
I think (and hope) he'll be selected, if not start <ok>

My hope would be that he starts on Sunday! If Farke wants to go with his best team then Nelson should get the nod. He's dropped him from the squad for last night's game, which could be seen as punishment, although the game wasn't of any real importance. Clean slate for Sunday!

What a signing for Brighton! Very skillful, pacey winger. I'll look forward to seeing him on MOTD is he settles in to the club well.

Mathew Ryan - Great young keeper
Davy Propper - Talented play-maker, great passer
Jose Izquierdo - An explosive, direct Winger

Brighton could be an interesting team this season.

Some of you may remember Andy Head's 'school report' on the NCFC players from last season n MFW. Well he's back and I've elecited his appraisal of a couple of players which I think are spot on -
"Jarvis, M
Has spent more time in sick bay than Matron.
At this juncture he even has his own permanent bed. With two years to go until he graduates, Jarvis’s continued presence at the school, without attending class, adds little at this stage, although he is unlikely to seek a fresh start at a school with less funding. A damning indictment of our previous admissions policy. Will hope to finally reach fitness this year and if he does he still has the ability to make a real contribution.

Oliviera, N
Unfortunately, Herr Farke had to send this boy to my office on the first day of term. Even a talented student has to follow the rules, and realise that no student is more important than the school. I trust he will learn his lesson and strive to improve his attitude. The problem with being at the front of the class is that when you do well everybody notice, and it is clear that other schools are paying close attention to Oliviera. Whilst he can appear selfish in pursuit of grades, this single-minded determination can often benefit the class regardless. His decision-making in this regard will be closely monitored by Herr Farke but he has had a very good summer and looks to be an essential member of the class this year.

True, but lets not push Nelson too far away! He is our only propper goalscorer, and I don't think we will sign another.

Watkins and Jerome seem to need over 15 clear chances to score 1. Lets not make Nelson feel like he wants to leave. I was also gutted and surprised he didn't start against Fulham. Obviously he was too. Maybe play him. We might score a goal and win a game!

Watching a re-run of the Leeds Vs Port Vale game.

Bloody hell! Michael Tonge is still playing football! not heard his name for a long while!

Saiz Debut hattrick for Leeds was very impressive. He looks like he could be a player this season. Quick, skillful and powerful. He looks compact and bulky, and he has some power in his shots.
