Wow. Liverpool making a big move for Alex Teixeira! Long time Chelsea target. He is total class. Would be a fantastic signing if they pull that off. I'd expect Chelsea to up their interest again now.

Oh well, looks like we'll be seeing Brady at left back for a while yet, which I feel is not making the best use of his talent and several posters in the EDP website feel the same - “I think he is better at left-back than one further forward, if I am being honest,” he said. “I think he is better when the game is all in front of him. That is probably his biggest asset because it allows him to use his pace. I have got stats that suggest he crosses more balls from left-back than he does left-wing. The full-backs become wingers in transition whereas the modern wide player instead of hugging the touchline, as they used, find themselves inverted and coming inside and picking up pockets and holes.
“For Robbie, he has had his most effective games, in my eyes, at left-back since he has been here.”

Sounds like AN has done his homework so I guess we have to trust his judgement! <ok>

I see where AN is coming from. End of last season I was hoping we might see Olsson given a chance to push forward to the wing spot. He seemed to be getting into some really useful forward positions and getting good crosses in. In hindsight perhaps that was the FBs operating more in the fashion that AN mentions there. Interesting to hear AN's thoughts like that.

Klose totally looks like he will be fantastic in the dressing room and on the training pitch. Spirits up when traveling on the team bus. I'm sure he will be a big signing in that way. That's without even seeing him on the pitch for us. So fingers crossed he is everything people says he is. If so, him and Naismith could be 2 of the best signings we have made in a long time.

Leicester has signed Daniel Amartey, which I think is a fantastic buy. He reminds me a lot of Wanyama. Younger though. Strong, 6", can plat DM or CB. Really strong, works his bum off. A player I really rate. Leicester have done well to strike while their profile is up, and nab a great young prospect.

Did make me kinda laugh when he said he remembers the great players coming out of the PL. 'Cristiano Ronaldo erm... and others'.
