Chelsea 1-1 Frankfurt in extra time. Sebastien Haller the big gun this season for Frankfurt - remember him? he didn't want to come to Norwich.

Declan Rice very recently got away scot free for this.

Many other footballers have been worse and got away with it.

A young black person you say!?…..

Without knowing/condoning the comments, the whole situation seems really ridiculous. "13 year old makes stupid/uninformed/whatever comments on social media, which get dredged up a decade later and impact on the career of a person who has changed greatly since then."

Amazed clubs don't require all players to reset all their social media accounts upon signing their first professional contracts.

Our place in the pecking order over the last 50 years. I don't understand this though, I thought Leeds were the most mighty and massive and succesful of all clubs!

Cannot understand how the Binners have made the top 20, let alone finish above City when they have spent the past 17 - 18 seasons in the Champo. At least during that time City were in the Prem. Our place in the pecking order should go up now we have been promoted and they have been relegated. Do not know how they worked this table out.

It's based on the last 50 yrs.
Ipswich were certainly above us in the first 20yrs.

Ipswich went up, finished 5th (the highest finish in the Premiership for a newly promoted Club), then had the next season in Europe. I'm guessing they rack up some serious points for that little spell.

Probably gives them a bit of a relative bump compared to our recent Premiership campaigns.

If I had to pick a CB for the best sides in the PL, Obviously I'd say De Ligt and this Monster right here:

If one or both come to the Prem. My word!

Koulibaly was on the outs at Napoli a few years ago and ready to sign with NCFC for circa £14mil. Then Napoli pulled the plug.
A season later his value was at £30mil, now it's at £67mil.

Yeah, I remember those rumours. Along with Alderweireld, Juan Quintero and Sebastien Haller.

Hi all, just back after a week in NNUH hospital.
Playing catch-up but how weird -
Warnock gets relegated but keeps job,
    Hughton survives but gets bullet!!
Doubtless mentioned elsewhere but playing catch up, as I said.

I think that makes sense in some respects. It was Cardiffs first season and they probably expected to/planned for going down. Part of that plan is to have Warnock in place as one of the best candidates to have them bounce back immediately. Had they stayed up, I would think he would get one more season to consolidate before Cardiffs board thought, we can get better than this/Warnock ceiling of poor football and inability to improve it or 17-20 place finishes.
Perversely I think Hughton would have had a better chance of keeping his job had they gone down, because he is known to be a very capable manager at Champ level and although getting some stick, is still highly thought of by most Brighton fans for getting them to the PL in the first place. (I think we kind of had that dilemma too, but the crowd had turned on him and any come back was going to be tough/impossible, he had no real cridit in the bank from a promotion like for Brighton) but to move forward I think Brighton needed a change to progress. Hughton on current form would likely take them down next season as they seem on a downward tragectory. Better to have a full season trying to be better than from Xmas with a fully Hughton squad and in the bottom 3.

    Bah!
