Wow, what a deterrent for racist supporters of several Balkan and Baltic football nations! <doh>

Danny Rose says he is "lost for words" after Montenegro were ordered to play their next home match behind closed doors following the racist abuse of England players by supporters in March.
Montenegro have also received a fine of 20,000 euros (£17,253) from Uefa.
"I don't think it's a harsh enough punishment," Rose told Sky Sports.

I've just done a quick trawl of us, Blades and Leeds results against Bolton and we'd all lose 6 points and we'd be very slightly worse off on GD. <yikes>

€20,000 fine? Ireland were fined €10,000 when someone threw a tennis ball on the pitch! What a joke, I feel so sorry for these players. Danny Rose saying he'll be glad to see the back of football was a sad indictment of how little is being done.

Sheffield could be a couple of goals up. Men against boys first 5 minutes.

Keane off injured for Ipswich after 6 minutes.

Everything just goes for Sheffield United doesn't it.

My god Ipswich are so poor. Keep gifting them the ball at the back. Gotten away with it so far, but not going to survive much more of this.

I'll have my tenpeneth here. For me he's an ungrateful little ****, football could do more but it is no worse than that big wide world out there, in fact in the UK it is a pretty good place to be in football. He lives in a cossetted bubble and he should be rest assured that the world outside football is every bit as bad. The abuse he has seen is a fraction of the daily crap those of colour get all of the time throughout eastern Europe and even many pockets of our supposed more civilised west.

Bah!

So because others get abused more that makes it okay does it?
