Gayle and West Brom accept charges. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47245351 "He will miss Championship games against Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers. Gayle will be available to return from his suspension against Sheffield United on Saturday, 23 February." It worked out the way I hoped it would. But I'm surprised they didn't fight it as I don't think there is an extra penalty for contesting the charge in this case (could be wrong about that.)
Regardless of what the keeper should have done, I thought this was a dead cert for a foul by Boly. But the ref didn't call it and the commentator said it was never a foul. Was it the right call?
Does anybody else think Doncaster Rover's number 9 Marquis looks like a product of Mandy Carol's mother and Gareth Bale's father?
Hope we ain't paying his obscene wages if this comes to fruition Hope it does, the greater the distance between the waste of space and Norwich, the better
No worries, Brendan - let's just call it £2m for cash, hey? https://www.footballtransfertavern....a-into-the-next-spfl-superstar-in-the-summer/
Take what we got for Jacob Murphy and double it...so you're not far out. Buendia has the potential to become twice the player of either Murphy twin.
I agree, one of the key things for those positions is tracking back once you lose the ball and to have the stamina to go again once possession is won back
I guess we need a 'Summer Transfer Thread'. I'm optimistic that SW will put massive valuations on all our recent acquisitions to scare off potential buyers. Also that the players themselves will be eager to stay and at least be playing/in the match day squad regularly.
But surely it all depends which division we're in next season? Some will undoubtedly believe all of this season's hype(?) / accolades and think they're worth a shot in the top flight - with Norwich or without them? Do your damndest (damnedest?) Stuart.
No one likes to read this......but (Phil is the Yorkshire Evening Post's chief football writer, covering Leeds United.)
Fair point Cromer and I'm quietly confident that the majority will want to stay regardless. I think the only player NOT on a contract into the next decade is TC and I believe his agent is 'playing hardball'
That sucks for Leeds, they've had a lot of injuries don't you know. No one else has, just Leeds, how they're still in the hunt is a modern day miracle. Bah!
