As said on the designated international thread: Less good news about Pukki tonight. He's been subbed after 12 minutes of Finland's match with Greece. Hope it's not serious, but very worrying if it is.
It was bad enough when the fans just wanted a good ruck. But the bloody little cowards would probably wet themselves if confronted so just kick and break inanimate objects. Bah!
Changing topic - An article by MB on how the redevelopment is progressing at Colney and we'll hopefully see the next Under 23 making his name in the first team squad - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...ney-redevelopment-and-perfect-start-1-5737919
Great article, JMF. The Long-term approach SW has been nurturing does seem to be coming into fruition. I liked this bit about DF from Weaver: “The other thing is he doesn’t mind upsetting senior players. I’ve got to say that’s quite refreshing. But I think it’s part of his role and that’s what he was brought here to do – to make the first team successful, and he really does help to produce young players. So I think we’re in a very fortunate position at the moment. Sometimes you just walk into a place that’s getting itself geared towards being the model they want to do going forward, and this is certainly the board and Delia’s vision.” Also good to see Tom Smith getting credit for coming up with the Academy bond idea at the heart of these developments.
Bloody typical PriceOfFootball@KieranMaguire Since 2007, when new Wembley stadium was completed, the FA has given £149 million to Football Foundation for grass roots support & £236 million to banks in loan interest to fund stadium. Those criticising the banks clearly have no idea of cost of nannies & Courcheval ski villas please log in to view this image
Report from NCFC meeting about reintroducing safe standing with Sports Minister Tracey Crouch in Whitehall yesterday. https://www.alongcomenorwich.com/articles/standing-at-the-carra
That's excellent, Cromer. McNally's refusal to consider safe standing was one of the down sides of his regime. Steve Stone was in favour and his replacement, Ben Kensell has been fighting for it for years. Good for Ed Balls and the club for joining West Brom in pushing for it!
Bloody hell, he isn't buried in the foundations of the Colney improvements: please log in to view this image
Nice tradition to get an old boy back to present a new player's shirt. Not sure how they got Adam Levine from Maroon 5 to present Max Aarons shirt to him though. https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/201...-legends/?utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral
The full set here - including 'utility man' Rob Newman!! https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/201...-players-receives-framed-shirts-from-legends/
Walsall FC Official@WFCOfficial please log in to view this image The #Saddlers are delighted to announce the signing of Russell Martin as player-coach until the end of the season! Good luck, Russell.
Pleased to see that Russell Martin has joined Walsall as a player coach. Can see him going into management eventually.
I think his primary role is to stoke the braziers they use to try and defrost the pitch to allow games to take place!
So Boro go top until the games later today (at least). I still would NEVER want Pullis as the manager/Head Coach at CR.
Well done Russ! Looking forward to MOTD tonight. Josh Murphy and Sessegnon getting their first Premiership goals.
