So DF is well aware of our need to score goals - http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-farke-on-goal-drought-1-5410834
Wow. That took him a long time! Is he the last person in the country to realise?! Maybe we will sign a proper striker in the next 6 windows.
Well done Dortmund fans. It's about time fans stood up to the whims of TV and media moguls who have such a big say in obscure and bizarre kick off times to suit their poxy media scheduling. Trouble is that wouldn't happen in this country, where fans are so used to being manipulated by the media, they just accept it http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43201642 edit - I don't suppose temperatures of -6 helped either. Bloody Germanic wimps / wusses
Srbeny and Hernandez are going to amaze us all once they get going and Oliveira will rise again! OTBC!
Well, if none of them can 'get going' in a home tie against lowly Bolton, what makes you think they ever will? <devilsadvocateemoji> (Hernandez sounded on the radio coverage like he had an excellent first half then faded - as did the entire team!)
Fair comment Cromer, but Leitner should have done better and Bolton made things REALLY difficult (I know we should still be able to break them down). I can at least see we're creating good chances and I do feel that one game we will score 3 or more goals. <wakeupsoonemoji>
Agree with JMF that had Leitner scored or Maddison's shot cut inside the post Bolton would have struggled. Credit to them that they pushed up to deny attacking space. I'll keep my powder dry until I see more of our new players.
Hernandez can't be up to par with the rest of the squad on fitness yet. The work levels are probably a bit to much for him at the moment to keep it up for 90+ minutes.
He's a professional footballer who was not injured when we bought him, if he isn't then why not? 90+ maybe not if Farke et al have high standards, but 60+ is not unreasonable to expect. Bah!
Because of the massive intensity of the training sessions, and the work he demands of players on the pitch is not like every other club. He will be training more, and doing more than he has been use to. It will take time for the new guys to catch up. Especially for a guy who's game seems to be built on pace and direct running.
Changing topic slightly - our game against against the Villains now kicks off at 12.30, to avoid the clash witb Citeh V ManUre.
Very positive article on how we've progressed this season in today's MFW - https://www.not606.com/threads/general-football-thread.308147/page-436#post-11501566
For what it's worth, good luck to Keith Hill, Ian Henderson and Rochdale at Wembley tonight. Can't see it somehow, but as with the first leg, never say never
