Pub quiz question: how many first team players has Wes Hoolahan seen come and go in his 10 years at NCFC? Perhaps somebody can provide the answer?
So JM wins his 2nd GotM - http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...city/11251874/maddison-wins-goal-of-the-month He REALLY is a special talent and yet he spends part of his summer holidays coaching kids back in Coventry!!! Edit - Excellent article by MB in today's EDP --http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/michael-bailey-column-canaries-quarrel-ahead-of-ipswich-derby-1-5396148
Horrendous refereeing . He has the yellow card in his hand , gets surrounded by Wigan players waving imaginary red cards gets manhandled by said players and changes it to red. I would have been happy to see Wigan win but now I hope they get stuffed Cheating bastards.
So, it didn't take long for Gers fans to see Martin at his worst - http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/02/1...vering-why-russell-martin-was-dropped-by-nor/
Rangers should have asked Norwich fans for a 'reference' before signing him. Wait until he tries to make a couple of backpasses from the halfway line
I'd have given him a glowing reference though, why would anyone do otherwise to diminish the chances of at least getting some of his wages paid? Bah!
I'm liking Hanley. Was captain at Blackburn, wasn't he? Not sure what happened at Newcastle. Signed a five year deal, but left a year later after a handful of games.
Just started MDT, so updates on there - https://www.not606.com/threads/wolves-v-canaries.358587/#post-11475666
Newcastle had a lot of money and a lot of talent in their squad, their resources at CB were no different. Hanley is good at this level and maybe he was not far behind Laceles, Clark and co, but behind them he was, in the PL it was only going to get worse, so he sensibly left for first team football. Given where he came from and that he was probably not bought as a certain starter, thats why we could probably afford him. Bah!
Nice to see another ex Canary getting some success. Paul Cook of Wigan had a short spell with us in the 80s A very cultured left foot if I remember correct.
Makes sense. I guess he gave it a year and decided it wasn't going to happen for him. Worked out well for us anyway.
Thoughts on tomorrow's game - and beyond, from Dan O'Hagan, a Norwich based Wolves fan who commentates on many games but mainly Bundesliga. http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...orge-and-the-old-gold-procession-to-the-prem/
These changes will be good for the game. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43161444 I'm not sure if the "Full Strength" rule could collide with the "Home Grown" player rule, though.
