Drat - Wet Sham have taken the lead with about 8 minutes to go in ET!!! Edit - So the Shrews are out. Let's hope they now gain promotion.
Everton Sign Walcott. Good move I think. Theo needed to leave Arsenal. Everton need some different attacking options.
Well, last night's Leicester V Fleetwood game has made history and rightly so. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42712905
The latest interest in JM - Leicester reported to be interested - http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/s...ws/james-maddison-everything-you-need-1077266 "A week ago it was revealed Maddison has created an astonishing 54 chances, more than any player from the Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A and La Liga. In short, he has made a lot people stand up and take notice and Carrow Road has been a favourite destination for many, many scouts over the past few months. According to the Express (Leicester), a fee of around £20m has been mooted which seems like an absolute steal in today's market. As mentioned, many other clubs with big pockets have been circling with the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Manchester City and, err, Wolves also interested."
If Pritch went for about 12M, (too low a fee for me) 20m is not enough for Maddison. He's younger, stats this season much better than Pritch, and after losing Alex, it makes him even more important. I heard today, with the links to Ryan Sessegnon. That's he is linked heavily with the same sort of clubs: Liverpool, Spurs, Saints etc. Apparently he is seriously unlikely to go, because it could be as much as £40m to get him. In this world. 12M for Pritchard was nothing. £20m for Maddison is way too cheap. It's mental. But that's the market. We always struggle, coz we don't demand the money every other club do.
God I love Dion. Poor man Struggling to hold back the tears. Beautiful hearing him talk about Cyrille.
From today's presser - "Also good news on Matt Jarvis. Farke tells me the winger could return to team training in a couple of weeks. Will still take time from here, but Farke is clearly a fan and hopes the current good signs continue. #ncfc" Wh I hear you ask???? CZ next to face the press.
This ties up some loose ends nicely - if he's back before the window closes, we can sell the entire physio team and raise a few more bob for the summer coffers - after all, a fit Jarvis would render them surplus to requirements
Terrible call against Jerome. He gets a yellow for diving when obviously was kicked in the instep/ankle.
Blimey, the Blades have a tough run of games coming up - us tomorrow, home to Preston in the cup next Saturday, bike to Villa on Tuesday away to Wolves on 3rd and home to Leeds on 10th.
Derby have been scoring freely, Jerome joins and even plays the final 1/4. Coincidence? They're doomed! Bah!
If we score 3 tomorrow and Ollie gets one of those, I might start to think CJ took the curse with him.
So I wonder how many will decide enough is enough and give up their season ticket - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...17-2018-season-ticket-prices-frozen-1-5362901 ???? I know many who will renew, as it's what they do on Saturday afternoons/occasional Tuesday evening etc. I'll certainly be renewing my membership and I can buy my seat for 1p5wich from 9am on Monday!!!
