Urgh. Yea. I recon we'd get him. Cheap option. One of the few that would see us as a step up, easy to negotiate to pay him low wages. All adds up for a Norwich appointment.
You see him as a cheap option, I see him as just the sort of head coach that we need, he plays proper, high-pressing football!
Money is going to be tight enough this summer without having to cough up for legal fees for illegal approaches to employed managers - a la Lambert from Colchester. Good grief, Webber has done more in three weeks than Moxey did during his entire stay - but he doesn't yet walk on water, I'm afraid!
Good riddance to Sunderland at long last from the top flight. They'd hung on by their grubby little fingernails for so many seasons but eventually have been found out. Appointing Moyes didn't help Ironic if Middlesbrough join them with the Toon already promoted.
Really good to see them go. Am fed up with them only turning up for the final 1/4 of the season every year for the past 5 or so. You can't keep getting away with that. Hopefully they will have a clear out and start again, coz that team has been awful for so long.
That's why football is so gripping. Struggling Bristol go to Solid Brighton who are going out to win the title. Beat them, to confirm survival.
After every single one of the last 190 games, they've been in the bottom half of the table. The 34th match of the 11/12 season is the last time Sunderland bothered the top half of the table. Given how compact the middle of the Premier League has been lately, that's ridiculous. please log in to view this image
Saw that on Twitter myself Dave, absolutely pathetic. Go on YouTube and watch the Leeds v Chelsea 1970 FA Cup final highlights it was like a bloody war zone. Thing is though, rather than roll around they just get up and go for each other
