They can justify it by having bums on seats. CR is consistently full so they can take advantage. If we all start to vote with our feet, then I'm sure they would have to review price and product quality. How can the binners justify the highest price season ticket with the dross they serve up? They make us look scintillating and ambitious! Bah!
So as we're all moaning about the same old faces being picked and the youth not being given a chance, what side would we all pick? I'd maybe go for: Jones Pinto (If still injured, Martin) Godfrey Klose Olsson Ja Murphy Thompson Dorrans Jo Murphy Pritchard Jerome Bah!
Ruddy Pinto (If still injured, Martin), Godfrey Klose Olsson Ja Murphy Thompson Pritchard, Jo Murphy Jerome, Lafferty
I saw that earlier and it's TOTALLY ridiculous - what on earth is happening in football???? Yes Cromer, I have to agree!!!
Just can't believe why they are persueing this, it is just plain crass stupidity! No harm was done, no one else has objected, it was done in a respectable manner as always. They need to realise that if those people had not fought and died for world freedom there wouldn't be a FIFA!
An excellent article by Craig Bailey on MFW - On RM – “There’s been a great debate over whether he is best at centre back or right back, and I was in the right-back camp until I saw how things have gone since Ivo Pinto has been out. Russ is a lovely guy and I’m appreciative of what he’s done for City on his journey with us, but I think it’s a time for a changing of the guard. Look at some of the goals we’ve conceded: Leeds and Preston’s winners were both from dead ball situations where we were still organising ourselves and were simply not ready. That’s the manager’s fault at the highest level, but on the pitch it forms a crucial part of the captain’s role.” And his thoughts on AN – “He did of course get us promoted. This season has been very different though; a stubbornness on tactics, a lack of a plan B, the same formation and players making it very easy to work us out. The players look like they’ve lost faith in Alex, much of the fan base has too, and that very rarely ends well.” Full article here – http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...n-ugly-but-losing-uglys-not-part-of-the-plan/ Followed by some excellent comments
Sad to say he's pretty much spot on with his reasoning, either AN has to lose his stubborn streak or he needs to be replaced! I'll be sorry to see him go but something has to change!
I think the acid test of that will be his team / squad selection on Saturday. For the Leeds game, he supposedly gave those who "rolled over" at Brighton a chance to 'redeem' themselves - which failed. No such excuses on Saturday, Louis Thompson was the only canary to emerge from the Leeds game with any intact credibility - what's the betting he's dropped or benched to make way for Tettey? I'm pretty sure it will alienate many more supporters if that's how it pans out.
Totally agree with both Dave and Cromer's comments. Sad to say, I'd be quite surprised to see Louis Thompson in the starting 11 at the expense of Tettey, but he certainly deserves to be. AN also needs to change the formation he's playing as it's OBVIOUSLY not working and hasn't been for weeks. I'm not 'holding my breath' on seeing significant changes to the starting lineup either!! PS - does anyone else fancy doing an MTD????
It does make you wonder when Jerome and Oliveira arrive at the training ground - do you think they actually know who each other is, or does someone have to make a formal introduction each time?
I have to agree with ILD in that the under 21 and under 23 games are just so totally different to the dross we have to endure from the first team and they are a joy to watch by comparison. Morris isn't isolated up front and we play with width, so it makes it more difficult to defend against and so far in both the Checkatrade Cup and the Premier League Trophy (or whatever it's called) our GD is +18 - 20 for and 2 against. If you live in or near Norwich and are free on either 28th Nov or 5th Dec, get yourself a ticket!!!!
Absolutely JM, these boys deserve our support, tickets are generally free or minimal cost. It's far better than watching the first team....honest it is!
