Not seen this mentioned elsewhere, Bassong now has 6 relegations on his CV: 2 with us, then Newcastle, Wolves and twice with FC Metz. That's relegations in 2006, 08, 09, 12, 14, 16. He's "only" played in 13 seasons of football!

Unbelievable stat!
We need to get rid. I question his motivation anyway, and he just cannot be trusted.

I'm watching Martinez Last ever Everton interview after the Sunderland game. I like the guy. As a person, and as a manager. BUT The whole time watching this....I'm thinking.....Are you deluded?! I know you have to try and make a positive spin. You can't say "I'm so S*it, I can't believe I'm still manager!!" But still, everything he says, you think....well that's b*llocks!!

He will get another top job. He's great. He lost the team, and lost his way at Everton. I really thought he was a great appointment. I really dunno why it crashed so suddenly.

I would hope a player convicted of such a crime would NEVER play for his club or country again - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-36281843!!!
Danny Simpson denied attempting to strangle his ex-partner but was convicted last May and ordered to complete 300 hours in unpaid work. What sort of message does that send to his young fans and turning up for his community order in a Lamborghini?? <doh>

Some snippets from today's BBC Gossip column -
Manchester United have been offered Real Madrid's Colombian forward James Rodriguez, 24, for £60m.
Everton have approached three-time Premier League winning manager Jose Mourinho about replacing Roberto Martinez at Goodison.
Relegated Villa have also been linked with a big money move to tempt West Brom manager Tony Pulis. <doh>
Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is to hold face-to-face talks with Rafa Benitez to try and convince the Spaniard to stay. But Rotherham manager Neil Warnock has emerged as a surprise candidate to replace Benitez. <doh>
