    Most disappointing team has to be Fenerbache beaten by Molde!! What is it with Turkish football teams that they are currently performing so poorly? I think the problem could be the high number of mercenary players in their domestic game, which is preventing highly talented Turkish players from playing. A country that is fanatical about its football and with 70+million must have a vast pool of talent as its disposal, is underperforming very badly and should not have its top clubs beaten by a Norwegian minnow!!

    Meanwhile my team Athletic are being held!! Vamos Athletic!!

    Always delighted when an ex-Saint scores. Pleased for him and hope he regains full fitness and has a super season for Liverpool. We should keep our poison to pour scorn on our pathetic politicians. Pity it isn't done at football matches. Boris J is a w*****!! (or hero) would sound terrific being sung around St Mary's and much more preferable to anything related to Pompey!!

    Great result in the end for Athletic and well done to Spurs as well. Would be great to see these two teams contest the final next May rather than two teams that have dropped out of the CL!
