Then you would appear to have a short and/or selective memory. All sorts of abuse was directed at me during the Brexit debate:- Racist, Moron, Idiot and likened to a Nazi. I seem to recall that you gave me some abuse as well, but had the grace to apologise. Even last week I was called Islamophobic because I dared to condemn the murder of children in the name of Islam. Yet nothing is said.
The Liberal Lefty clique on this board rounds on anyone that does not share their views and never will speak out when abuse is sent the other way. That is why apart from SH, no-one else bothers anymore - they have been driven away.

I have told you numerous times openly on here and in the PM some of us had when Lenny left. There are huge double standards on here - you all complain and round on SH when he responds with vigour, but you all never say a word when it goes the other way. I was called all of those things on here and not one word of support came from the Liberal Lefties on here, you ignored it. That is why you are only left with SH to give any sense of balance - everyone else has been driven away.
I have never said that you called me any of these things, but you know those that did.
I know there are racists out there, but I have no idea what a Nazi would look like - do they walk around goose-stepping? As shown on that You-Tube clip, it is abuse thrown by the ignorant when they cannot articulate themselves.
 
I would like to know who all these posters are who have left because of their right wing views. I know of some who no longer do post, but find it difficult to remember any who did because they were shouted down.

2) Why, again and again tar us all with the same brush. There are very different views here
3) Why, when you did return today did you post an inflammatory piece of video?

None of the above do really show any real attempt to dialogue.

I must say i did not note any abuse directed your way, way back except after you posted some inflammatory stuff when all this happened last year. In my view you, and others overreacted and then a battle started. For goodness sake, we had got along together for years and enjoyed the banter. We had some great fun

SH has consistently sought to wind each an every one of us who has posted on these threads... and shows very little interest in football.... I think he is only here for his fun on these threads. You yourself posted that he was a troll many moons ago.

I welcome you back perhaps you can help us all be more respectful

Italian Fascism was far less 'racial' in its thinking than the British Empire, at that time. However, the word has cottoned on as a generic insult for all those on the right. I have seen eg. Trump referred to as a 'Fascist' on here, I have done it myself, which is lazy - just looking for one word insults which come to hand, rather than long drawn out descriptions.

My criticism is of the ignorant women, not Corbyn. But it does place this type of political activist in the political range i.e. extreme Left Wing that Momentum is bringing into the Labour Party.
How can the content be anything to do with being Neutral? Perhaps you did not get to the part where this incredibly ignorant women called a Black Man a racist and that he must be a Nazi if he was arguing of the rights to the demo that was going on - the right not to have bottles thrown at them. He was trying to articulate his views and has drowned down by the mass of Lefties.
This is the world of the extreme left and I fully expect that when they realise Labour did not "win" the election, they will be taking to the streets and rioting again.

You are doing exactly the same thing here W_Y. You group us all together as liberal lefties although that is not a fair description. Sometimes we bandy words around like 'Leftie', Trotskyist, Fascist etc. and also use the word democracy, as if there were a shared defined meaning for all of these words which there isn't - what is 'left' for you is 'right' for me.

W_Y she was just an individual not a representative of the whole left wing. Maybe we ought to define exactly what we mean by extreme 'left wing' - because it is clear that we use the expression in a different way.

You are talking nonsense again, I have supported the Horns for over 50 years, I am a season ticket holder and have been to lots of away games in the past few years. I often contribute to football threads on this forum. Your comments are just personal abuse which you selectively pretend you do not approve of. Grow up.

Lenny was not a right wing follower as you well know. He left because SH wound him up to such an extent that he said things that were totally out of character, and he didn't wish to repeat it. I could say more, but this is not the place for it.
You left because you felt that the majority of posters didn't go along with your Brexit views. You and I had some good constructive information sharing during that debate, and we didn't come to blows over it.
Asimov doesn't even appear on the members list. His visits could not have been frequent.
Aberdeen has often gone for periods when he doesn't post. Guess it depends where he is in the world.

This hardly seems like a long list of people who have been driven away. It sounds good to say that people have been driven away, but the facts do not support it.

That is totally untrue about Lenny. I made my peace with him and he returned to post again. He left because of the unbalanced views and comments from extreme left wing posters. If you are to be a half decent moderator you should bother to get your facts right.

Fact Checking:
Of your last 200 posts, only 16 were on the non-political threads. Of those 16 half of them made a political comment, 4 were on a possible Russian takeover leaving 4 other posts including one regarding a death in the family (my condolences on that note). You don't take part in the Predictions League (of any description), so far as I can tell, and your match day posts are minimal to say the least.

As a point of order of my last 200 posts 80 were on the political threads with a few more making a political comment on non political threads, including asking for the political conversation to be kept out of the Nest.

Your contention that you "often" contribute to the football threads is laid bare. Economical with the truth, perhaps, as on political favourite of yours might put it. I don't think you realise quite how your time is spent here.

No, you are 100% wrong, look back on the posts, he left because of extreme language from some left wing posters. He was trying to balance the views. You should consider your position as a moderator if you cannot avoid taking such a biased stance.
