You don't have even the first perspective of what Austerity is!

Go to Greece and ask the pensioners there what Austerity is.. 50% cuts in their pensions and the EU piling money in to their system with punitive levels terms and conditions.

You're right there should be an exam.

In fact banksy, if the main crux of your argument is that you don't believe austerity has happened or is happening, then there's no point even arguing. You can friggin' see it with your eyes let alone look at the numbers, but we're clearly so far away from each other there's no point even having this discussion.

Mate I grew up in one of the poorest areas of Bristol, I know all about poverty (real ****in poverty!!) I know from experience that you put anything out for free and it will be taken regardless of need! usually by the strongest.

No one should be starving in this country.. theres plenty will take the food but can afford fags and tattoos though!

Whoosh again.. you won't have long to wait under a Corbyn government.

God help us if he gets in!!!

By the way Rob.. I voted fir Blair twice and see myself as being totally mugged off. I would happily drag him by his hair to Syria and present him myself!!

We're miles away here, there's no point and I like you as a poster so there's no point going any further banksy. I'm from Kingswood, I wasn't brought up in a poor area by any means but we had our struggles. We moved from our first house because it kept getting robbed and eventually set on fire and I grew up in a 2 bed semi <laugh>.

Only thing I will mention is, I'm a massive Labour supporter, but Tony Blair is a horrible, despicable c*nt. I don't see that with Corbyn. There's no slyness there and everything he does is for the right reasons. I genuinely thing he is there for the people, even if a little over-idealistic.

rob are you from the planet zog? JC in the past 6 weeks or so has become the biggest puppet in creation, viz .... tutored by a backroom staff to do a "Tony Bliar " talk slowly, say only what people want, TO HELL WITH IF THE FIGURES DONT ADD UP ! (bANKSY POST A CLASSIC ...£6bn). Don't worry if we know we cant deliver, avoid Brexit talks, we haven't a clue but we will try and sort something out. Don't worry about your principles support for IRA ETC ETC you can go back to that if we win ( BCFCRob " I'd rather vote for JC, who is clearly principled :emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0140-rofl: and genuinely trying to help the poorer" ) chicken and egg CORbYN style =
    a) first off he taxes the rich.. raises £1bn instead of £6bn (being very generous ) ooooooooops have to borrow £5bn to sort the poor
    b) first off helps the poor to a tune of £6bn, oooooops only got £1bn borrow £5bn or has to raise income tax/road tax/insurance premiums and any thing else he can tax to fund it. who then is worse off? the poor with a limited disposable income! Clever that isn't it.
    c) will do as did the last labour government, they squandered £trillions of oil revenue, but where did it go? Tony Bliar could see it was doom so did a runner, left it to his second in command to carry the can SO after just borrow borrow borrow leave a message in the drawer .."sorry again, no money left" after they lose the next one, the country in deeper sh*** than the last time...

As a pensioner and seen many many elections I am well prepared to "go dark financially" if JC gets in.

I voted Labour once, only once... when Bliar got in the first time, and yes those first 4 years were good, (saw the light after 5 years), but by god didn't we pay for it since, and still paying...

JGF, please don't say I'm from the planet zog when I regularly need to employ an interpreter to read your posts mate. At first I thought you just had a cat that liked to sit on your keyboard but it has since emerged that you are actually attempting to string sentences together.

And you're a pensioner voting Tory. Should have guessed...

Banksy I agree with all of your points, I am one of the people that's not clued up and regurgitate ****e from the tabloids, I love to provoke, irratate and annoy these keyboard experts who spout the rhetoric and ill informed nonsense of the 'Labour Looney Lefties'.

These people and their money trees who promise visions of everything but never have the resources to pay for it, except of course manifesto promises which mean **** all, we are accused of cuddling up to the Saudi's yet thay all have love in's with Hezbollah, Hamas and other Shi'a Muslm groups plus the IRA murdering slime.

They are led by spineless, lieing, cowards, with a history of knocking Britain and it's values, fancy threatening sending our ships to war without any weapons, denying our police the right to shoot to kill ( Then changing his mind to accomodate the weekends dreadful procceedings) talk abot u turns, this bunch are ****..

I refuse to engage these people who insult others who don't agree with them, just on these threads this morning I have been told my generation are all muppets and poor old tiger has been told he talks nonsense.

We have all lived through various socialist governments since the 60's and they have all ended in failure and dismal circumstances, I dread to think what might happen if this bunch of liars, cowards and con people succeed.

I love my country and look forward to our nation being independent and a shining light to the world again.

In all seriousness, I apologise for the rudeness. I'm quite passionate about it this time around and I do do this on this forum, steam in a little over-aggressive and end up having to tone it down.

    Abbott & Corbyn ?

More like Abbott and Costello. They are a total embarrassment.

A hung parliament will be bad for the UK and the thought of that horrible Scottish woman working with Jeremy 'we don't need defence/tree hugger' Corbyn should make people think twice.

By the way I'm not a raving Tory by any means (although I've never once voted for Labour either) but the alternative on this occasion with who is in contention, frankly doesn't bear thinking about trying to run this country at this time, or ever come to that.

My job is working within social care. It has been for nearly two decades.

Austerity is having your local day centre closed, your waiting times for specialised care being trebled and waiting eight months to see an occupational therapist to assess if it is safe for you to leave your home, austerity is your benefits (a misnomer) cut, being means tested due to the Politicians in charge feeling somehow disability for life is cured by a change of Government, austerity is being means tested by somebody who has no understanding of what your disability is, austerity is improvements like person centred planning being abandoned, austerity is losing your carer, austerity is having your support hours cut because it only takes you three hours to get dressed ... All happening in Bristol.

All the above was done in the name of austerity ... And all of it was wholly unnecessary and condoned by callous selfish cowards.

I suppose I would say that my politics are slightly left of centre (but more or less in the centre ground).

Corbyn is un-electable - and it's people like me who Labour have to convince.

If Labour had Andy Burnham or David Milliband as leader they would stand a chance.

Rob one thing for sure tell me why the banks are always pro Tory.

Because when labour are in power it always goes tits up.

You want to now something about not so well of.
My parents were both working class, worked their socks of.
Then went into business on their own, sadly my parents split when I was 10 and my brother 7.
My mother went into business on her own working 7 days a week to put food and clothes on our back.
We were always loved, feed, clothed, and brought up in the correct way.
One income from her shop,we had our first holiday abroad when I was eighteen.
Majorca,it felt like we were stars at the time.
I was brought up in longwell green, warmly,Kingswood.
Yet nobody helped her,she did it all on her own,yes she always voted Tory and would never never vote labour.
Why because she always said a vote for labour was a vote to give away what she worked for.
Me I have a successful business, started 28 years ago from nothing,I employ 10 local people all being paid very well.i live very comfortable and have nice things.Again I would never in a million years vote for a Labour government, why because they never never look after those that succeed, only take from us to give too the people that don't want to work,or the scroungers that want to bleed our country dry.
Vote Tory the only party credible to run our country.
